Specifically girly bits!
Basically, my son asked me the other day how he came out of my tummy. I didn't talk to him about it, not because I have a problem with it (because I'm not worried about talking to him about stuff like that), but because we were about to leave for school on the first day back after the summer hols.
But it made me realise that I still don't know what word to use for a girl's bits 'down there'. He knows that a boy has a willy and from that he's just decided that 'girls don't have willies'. I probably should've said something a long time ago but tbh I still haven't decided what word I'm comfortable with.
So I was just wondering what other people say? xx

Well when I am talking about LO's bits (like if she has a rash or whatever down there) to DH I alwas say her 'lady/girlie bits' or her 'foof' so we may well call it that when she asks. Oh my cousin's little boy observed his ister once and said he had a willy and she just had a 'front bum' It's a hard one I know - boys are much eaiser - just a pee pee or willy! xx

We use willy for boys and bits for girls, has been known for them to say a woman has a baby bum as they have seen loads of homebirth programmes so know thats where a baby comes from ;D As long as you are comfortable with it then call it what you like Liz x

That is a difficult one.
My LO calls his willy a "wee wee" even though we haven't taught him that. Never thought that we might need to refer to girlie bits since we don't have a girl. Will have to give it some thought for the future when the topic ineveitably comes up.
