Hi guys. I have a girl scarlet who will be 2 next month and i started to get really tired when she was bout 16 months. Went to the docs got test done and eventually came to the conclusion that i have pnd. I find all the symptoms of pnd hard to deal with but the worst for me is the tirdness and strange sleep that i have. Im tiderd all day and sometimes find maself drifting off when im watchin scarlet. And it makes no difference how much sleep i get. When i do sleep im in a light sleep and wake up alot and i have realy strange vivid dreams. Was just wondering if anyone else has felt like this?

Hey, I know a lot of ladies who have been on this site have had sleep problems. . . I think the problem is that when everything is quiet and calm at night, you brain goes into overdrive and has too much time to think. Have you tried any kind of relaxation techniques before you go to bed? Maybe having a nice warm bath an hour or so before you go to bed, a warm drink, listen to some relaxing music etc? Unfortunately tiredness can be a side effect if this illness along with a side effect of any medication you may be taking? If it worsens or doesn't get any easier, it may be worth a trip to discuss it with your gp x

Extreme tiredness was also one of my symptoms.l I too had blood tests and there was nothing ur f the ordinary. I also felt not here as f I was in some dream like state. Have you also had your thyroid tested? That can give symptoms f tiredness and depression. Defo worth talking to dr.
I found exercise hugely beneficial. Start small then build up if you can.
