well we are always here but has your girlfriend spoken to her health visitor or doctor? as far as therapy is concerned, there are lots of different ones, have a look at our section on meds and alternatives. you sound very supportive too, so any way we can help you carry that on, let us know. take care

the symptoms you descrive sound very similar to mine in the early days, i would advise as caz has above, and perhaps direct her to this site? its been a great help to me along with support and medical help from elsewhere (this site shouldnt be used as the only source of support)

she will get better, you will get her back but the first step is seeking help
from the right people

So glad you've found us here x Sorry to hear things are so tough for you all. As suggested please get your g/f to see the gp or talk to a 'professional' it will be hard but it will be worth it - they can prescribe medicaiton if appropriate for her, talking therapies and possibly other help such as a CPN (community Psychiatrci Nurse - they can be just fab) or something very similar.

Please keep reassuring her that she will get better and that she needs to talk to someone about how she is feeling x x
