Hi Gary
Been reading your thread and it seems as Gilly said you really are a fantastic husband, well done you are doinf a great job. Your wife is doing very well. I have no personal experience of PP only PNI but I have a close friend who suffered. From what you say your wife is a very good case my friend was much worse and was not allowed home visits untill her daughter was 5 months old.
From later talks with my friend she found not being able to breast feed was a major issue, like your wife she 'forced as she called it' to stop for meds and felt as if she lost the bond. What she was encouraged was to feed the baby next to her skin, ie remove her top and hold baby skin to skin while bottle feeding, she found this a major help. She too felt she wasnt bonding and from personal experience skin to skin really does help the bond. I'm not sure your wife would be ready or even allowed to do this but maybe you could suggest it to a nurse/doc see what they say if you think it would help.
I hope today goes well, be thinking of you.
Love and hugs to you all
Sarah x

we spent the day at my parents, lisa had a relaxing day, few sleeps, fed and changed baby twice, lots of cuddles for brandon from lisa,
she seems to be getting a lot better, more tired now than down, when i ask how shes feeling.
she has her weekly review tommorow, im hoping for an overnight visit home soon.
