Suffering PNI Now - How long?

I will be doing a series of questionnaires ( polls) from time to time to try and find out more about PNI and the people who use this web site

I hope you feel able to respond as the more information we can get on PNI the better.

When I have some information I will try to compile the answers into some form of statistics on PNI. In the hope that this information will prove useful to those planning service for women with PNI

I've answered I've had PNI for over a year - however, I wasn't aware that it was PNI until 10 months after the birth. And even now it still hasn't 'officially' been diagnosed (my daughter is now 15 months old). One doctor I saw said I had severe depression, my GP still refuses to believe I have severe depression as she says I wouldn't make it to the surgery to see her if I did (even though I've told her there are many days when I can't get out of the house and usually see here when I have a 'good' day, and has not committed herself to saying I have PNI. My Health Visitor didn't realise I had PNI despite all my symptoms etc. My Key Worker who I finally got referred to just over a month ago agrees with me and says I have PNI.

I put 3 years cos I had it with my 3rd and never got over it before I got preg and got pre natal so I am still getting through it
