i know from the heading that there is at least one other Yorkshire lass on this site so i thought i would share an old yorks saying with you all.


' I started to grin,
I tackled the thing,
that couldn't be done
AND I DID IT.'

I know it is so hard to raise even a smile most days with this horrible illness. But, when you can, make it a grin. You will get better, and then hopefully.... who knows...maybe a good laugh.

Hi Wendabell,
I believe it is old Yorkshire. My mam used to say it to us when we were refusing to do something by saying 'awww mam, i can't do it'.
On another note. I wonder if you could help. I registered onto this site and my registration was acknowledged. I have not recieved an activation key and every time i try to log on it keeps asking for it so i am having to come on as guest. i have tried re registering but tells me that my name is already in use.
