Hi
As some of you might know my first (main) sign of PNI was a pressure round my right eye, headaches particularly on the right side of my head, blurry eyesight.
I had a CT scan of my sinuses in Oct and today saw the specialist. My sinsuses are normal. ( I had the CT scan when I was feeling quite well) She had a glance up my nose and down my throat - everything fine. I told her it's still there, although much better. I asked whether it could be due to hormones and she said that didn't help. So basically, nobody knows, what caused it!!!
In my case, it's definately better than it was, prob thanks to anti ds that work for me, one great session of acupuncture, exercise, but seems to come back when I get really tired over a prolonged period. Whether that's to do with hormones or me getting run down is anyone's guess.

Hi Monica I don't know if you remember this (memory, that's another thing affected by PNI I think?!) ..but you replied to me early on and when you talked about this.. [glow=red,2,300] As some of you might know my first (main) sign of PNI was a pressure round my right eye, headaches particularly on the right side of my head, blurry eyesight [/glow] ..I remember thinking, yes, that's happened/ ing to me...I thought a had a brain tumour or was about to have a stroke or something. It was definitely on the right side too and started behind what I would describe as my eye socket. Like you, got no answers about this really. Other than my sister (who is a nurse and in the TA) who said when she read my hospital notes 'wish I'd had readings like your at my last medical'. On paper, strong as an ox and fit, lol!! I remember the worst day with these symptoms vividly (as I was a bit traumatised).. I really felt like my head would explode and my vision was terrible..I was also panicking ..and so my mum had to leave work to come over. I remember her face - she did look worried as I was in a terrible state. I also remember the day this started (along with fuzzy muzzy head) as I thought I had just overdone the dieting or something. But some friends came round the next day with 2 overexcitable kids and I remember thinking I just wanted them to go - I couldn't breathe right either. Horrible. Anyway, that time has passed, but I'm careful too Monica. Don't want to go there again. You ok? Hope your weekend is ok xxx
