Hi folks If anyone has been reading my diary you probably know I often speak about the "face ache", no Im not referring to my OH!! ;D I know its probably due to tension but I know one or two others who have had it, is it tension or a side effect of the meds?? and what do others do to ease it?? I ve tried massaging my cheeks etc but the only thing that really shifts it is diazepam. Any suggestions or thoughts??? sometimes its there all day! Love Jo xx

I get that when I'm tense. The only thing that works for me is trying to relax - not much help - sorry

Oh, I've noticed this too. Might be a tension thing or might be meds, sorry i don't know which. It's a bloody nuisance though. I have to make an effort not to clench my jaw! x

I have had a crazily tight jaw since my baby was born! I knwo its because I was clenching my teeth when breastfeeding was so painful adn from being anxious all the time! My boyfriend suggested rubbing lavender oil into my cheeks and when I remember it does really help to relax them- and my mind!!! Hope that helps xx

Thanks thats a good idea!! I think the face ache has lasted that long I now have a clicky jaw! I asked my dentist about this and she said it is very common in women - we must all be stressed with facial tension!!

Never thought of that, I have always had a clicky jaw but never known why. Guess I must have been stressed my whole life!
