hi girls, that post about epilepsy has now got me totaly paranoid! now im scared stiff my pni and dizziness is gonna lead me to have it! im petrified now. melly my lovely, give the meds a go. i know any ppl on venlafaxine including myself and the only side affect initially is a little nausea. most ppl i know had no side affects at all. its up to you hon but you could be feeling so much better in 3-4 weeks time. But if you really dont want to then also dont let ppl professionals bully you into it.
winegirl, how r u? jus like to say ur a great support to ppl on here.xx

Carlie hun,
It's the anxiety that's making you think you have some illness that you just read about. I was the same in the past, I watched a lot of telly programs and convinced myself that I had this, that and the other to the point that I had a panic attack. Paranoia is part of PNI sadly, My god I used to be even frightened of the word Anxiety and if I read anything on PP, I freaked. .... but I promise you hun these thoughts will go..These days I can watch/read anything without worrying, and this will be you soon hun.
Hugs
Scarlet X

Hi carlie
Just wanted to reiterate what scarlet said about the paranoia. The worst thing I did when I was really bad was to google my symptoms, and ended up convicing myself I had MS! Its just the illness playing with your mind. Honestly, you will get better. How long have you been taking the meds now? Any improvement?
Here if you need to talk x

Yes, and my mental health woman had a right bitch about people who google their symptoms. She says that people who do this are a burden to the NHS! Nice. I did point out that whilst I agreed with her in the main, had i not googled my symptoms I would never have found this site which lead me to go and get the right treatment! Thats shut her up LOL.

Good for you hun, even without PNI, whenever my eldest son had some childhood illness I always googled the symptoms ~ and then I usually dealt with the illness at home, burden on the NHS indeed.....
