Hi Gail
My weight still fluctuates terribly - can't even fit rings on my fingers some days - particularly around time of the month, I almost feel pregnant again!
With my first I did lose the weight initally (exercised alot after the birth) but struggled to keep it off. When she was 2, I just seemed to loose weight without really trying..don't give up, your body will get back to normal. God I hope mine will! Hopefulx

Hi It does make a difference im afraid if you are on medication im not sure if you are but it will not allow you to lose weight no matter how you try im afraid. But i struggle all the time lose a bit then it stops dead then goes straight back on again but i know its because of my health and the amount of meds that i take. But gp said that will struggle when on medication. Just keep trying and exercise as much as you can and follow a diet sheet and thats all i can say really sorry newwie

thanks ladies,
does anyone think that it is a symtom of PNI or just the medication? do you think that breastfeeding influences weight loss/gain? as the milk can weigh your boobs down...
just ideas, id be greatful for any input!!

Can I share some comments from a book I'm reading at the mo? This is completely NEW information to me. This book is 'Stop the 21st Century killing you" by Dr Paula Baillie-Hamilton. This is what she says: "However, few realise the effects that our ever-increasing exposure to toxic chemicals are having on our looks and fitness levels. I only discovered the full extent to which we were being affected myself when reasearching my first book THE DETOX DIET. I was astounded to discover the extent to which the majority of toxic chemicals make us fatter....What appears to be happening is that [our] natural slimming system is being poisoned by the toxic chemicals we encounter in our everyday lives, and this damage is making it increasingly difficult for us to control our weight. The result is that not only do we gain weight, but this weight tends to be in the form of fat and not muscle." www.cygnus-books.co.uk/mind_body_spirit_books/detox_diet.htmSo don't blame yourself for your lack of progress! Perhaps consider this as an alternative explanation that you can explore further yourself
