ok, those of you who are regular on the forum will probably recall me whinging about my periods not returning - i couldnt wait for them to arrive as they would signify a certain return to normality for me i was overjoyed when they did come back (believe it or not) well now they have, and they are all over the place. i have had three periods in one month - they are stopping and starting and all over the place and consequently so am i...for the first couple of months of their return they were regualr and i could predict when i would get 'bad' days of my symptoms returning, whilst this wasnt the best of arrangements at least it had a certain level of predictablilty (and i use this term loosely) to cut a long story short im a bit worried about this - i am taking progesterone pessaries and anti-ds does anyone have any advice? im going to see the doctor on monday but in the meantime i have just 'come on' again with my period - i only stopped on the 27th of december! best wishes gailxx

hi hopeful
went to the doctors today and he is concerned that my pituatry(sp?) gland is not functioning properly and thinks i may have an underactive thyroid gland, anyway i am going for a blood test tomorrow to see what the cause of this is
he said this is quite common after a baby and could explain some of my PNI symptoms too - this may also be why i cant lose any weight (fingers crossed) ;D
how are you? xx

Hi I had a time when after g for about a year i had the most irregular periods ever and was so frustrating many in one month then none for three months and so on and so on could never predict when or where it would happen. But after many trips to the gp and following a table that they gave me to fill in to note them down for six months they advised that they would give me a tablet cant remember the name of it and to take it when i came on my period and after doing that for about three months it lightened them and also regulated them back into a pattern. Hope your test results come back ok and that it explains the prob but i was advised that after having a baby some of us are very unlucky in this to get our normal clocks put out of sink Good luck
