Hiya everyone out there,
I have been on my meds for about six months now and things have been going great for me so the Dr has recommended that I reduce the meds and then finally come off them in a months time.
I felt really good about the decision cause I have felt like things have been going well, but I've been on the reduced dose for a few days now and yesterday was horrible. Feeling all shaky, anxious and the same pants feelings that I had before. I'm feeling ok again today, but it has made me feel a little worried if its the start of things to come again.
Are there any symptoms when you reduce medication as no one has actually told me if there is? Maybe its just an off day or its psychological and I'm waiting for the feelings to return...I dont know!
If anyone out there knows about symptoms from reducing the meds I would really love to hear from you...thanks everso...hope you're all ok out there. Cinders xx

I have been on tablets for ages. Once I started to feel better for a while, it was recommended that I start to reduce the dose. I did it very very slowly. Unfortunately, once I got to a fairly low dose, I came down to earth with a bang. I am now going through a really lousy time and have had my meds put back up again.
I am sorry, this is probably not what you wanted to hear. My only advice is reduce your meds slowly. I know that this works for most people. Maybe I am just a bit odd. If you are having any doubts, it might be worth going back to your GP. I waited for too long and pretty much ended up back where I started.
Lots of luck and I hope things go well.

Dear Wendy, Mel and Vonda, Thanks for your replies.
I am going to take things slowly with coming off the meds. I felt really ready to do it, but after reducing the dose and getting all of the feelings back again it really did scare me.
I'm fine at the mo, but I'll see how the next couple of week go and make a decision from there.
Anyway, thanks again for your replies...hope you're all well. Big hugs Cinders xx
