Blooming teeth!

Hello, me again
I need some advice re teething. Bub seems to be getting another tooth (finally!) and it's really bothering her, the ot6her ones didn't seem to phase her at all. She's normally a chilled out placid bubby, doesn't cry unless there's something wrong etc but she's been really grumpy and chewing on her hand, cheeks scarlet too. She's not interested in teething toys that you put in the fridge and teething gel doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions? Had some homeopathic granules but they didn't work either! Not too keen to give her calpol unless really necessary and she can't keep having that until all her teeth come in! xx

J really struggles each time a tooth comes, some babies sail thru it but not my little man! His cheeks get red, snotty nose, sore bum & sometimes diahorrea (bless) not plesant. He has never bothered with Teething rings but I usually put some bonjela in the fridge and give calpol, there is nothing worse than toothache it just nags. He usually settles after a dose of that so dont feel bad about giving calpol, it will help and your Bub would thank you for it!!

Thanks for replying, I think I will go down the calpol road as she's pretty miserable about the whole thing, poor wee mite, strange how teeth affect their bums too! xx

Yep that tooth has made itself known..just 20 odd more to go!! She does look a little odd with just 2 bottom and 1 top tooth though, friends kids seem to have heaps in comparison..ah well, she does everything at her own pace! She's not grumpy any more which is a blessing as since she's always been a 'good' baby I'm not sure how to deal with a whiny one! xx
