Oh the poor love!! When my daughter had an asthma attack for the first time a few months ago, I knew she was very ill and listless - and my son was very ill with D and V and hubby was away. I think it was after the surgery closed so I phoned NHS direct 0845 4647 and they advised to callthe 'out of hours' GP service and I did. Within 1/2 hour she was on a nebuliser! They wanted to admit her to hospital, but because husband was away with work, they gave me steroids, inhaler etc. to administer at home.
Do you have an 'out of hours' service number- always worth checking I think..?
Let us know how you get on Awful when they get ill like this isn't it? Love Hopefulxx

thanks for that hopeful well because i had the docs yesterday she said i should make an appointment with the doctors adn they will check him out then reffer me to the SIck Kids in Edinbugrh as they can do further tests and see what else he is allergic to i just feel so sad for him that he won't be able to eat the things that i love most!! but i'm glad we found out now instead of when he's older and actually likes the stuff that would be a nightmare! but i hope we ge it sorted soon bye for now kirsti xx
