Talk about tempting fate, I had just said the other day to hubby, that kiddies teeth were doing fine, you know, not one filling etc, never a tooth ache or any problems, I also said I was not looking forward to when their baby teeth started to come out, and loh and behold this morning my little girl has a wobbly tooth!!! I tell you someone out there is listening to me and having a good laugh at my expense. Now I really know God has a sense of humour. I prayed for one baby and he sent me two, almost as if to say that will teach you for bothering me. LOL. The twins will be six in October so I guess they have done well. Anyone know on average how long they are meant to last? Chica

Hi Chica,
I often think i'm being listened to also!!! bizarre eh? anyway about teeth, my little girl is 7 and currently has about 6 teeth missing!!! her 4 top teeth were taken out when she was 2 as they had come in rotten due to prolonged breastfeeding!!! and she got her first wobbly tooth at about 5 and half yr and the rest of them seem to have followed suit!! i think once one starts to get loose the rest of them do too?? Her 4 top teeth have yet to come in and i think she will look really strange when they do eventually come in.
I think your little girl has done extremely well to go this long. Good mothering on your part! well done.
Loadsa love

On Wednesday of last week, the infamous wobbly tooth came out. Unfortunately it was during the night, so I was greeted on Thursday morning with wails of panic as she could not find her tooth, she had put it on the bedside cabinet but you guessed it it fell off!!!! Has anyone else out there spent a good half hour on their hands and knees with your butt in the air, searching for a thing that is so tiny...Anyway cutting a story short the said tooth was found, thank goodness, so on Thursday evening we put it in a little box under her pillow, in the hope that the tooth fairy would come. Not a good idea as it turned out, she ended up having a nightmare at around 11pm about the fairy coming into her room, so needless to say whilst daddy calmed her down I went and grabbed the tooth box and put some money in it, so in fact the fairy had already been and that she could go back to bed now and not be afraid. Talk about feeling rotten... then on top of that my little boy wet the bed again that night, his excuse for not getting up this time was that he did not want to bump into the fairy either... So we have now told the children that next time a tooth decides to pop out that we would leave a note out for the fairy to tell her that the tooth has been left somewhere else so that they will not be frightened. So if their is anyone else out there with their first wobbly teeth emerging, my tip for the day is.. talk to your little one first and see if they are happy for the tooth fairy to visit their bedroom, or would they be happier if it was left in another special place Hope this helps someone Chica
