Bottle feeding & Potty Training

Hi Everyone

Just after a bit advice.

At what age did you stop giving your kids a morning and bedtime bottle. Chloe is now 20 mths and still seems to want them but I dont know when we should stop them.

Also, what age do you start the dreaded potty training? She will wee on command which is good (when taking off her last nappy before putting on a new one for the night we ask he to do a wee in the old nappy as we're changing her and she does most times).

Just wondered when other parents had done these things.

I stopped giving my son (now 10) the bottle around 18 months, then I gave him a cup with a teat on the end so he could hold it himself. I never actually stopped with the bed time or morning milk, in fact even now he has it morning and before bed (obviously not from a bottle) .

As for potty training. He was dry day and night at 2.5. It took me a week, but he was ready. It was during the summer and I let him run around without trousers and left a potty in the corner. Chloe is still only 20 months so it's maybe a little early. I've heard that you know when they are ready because they have a dry nappy through the night. Friends of mine potty trained from ages 2-3 and one of the little boys in mum and toddler group didn't use the potty until he was 4.
