Right dont laugh you guys! My little lads got really purple poo. I mean like a reddish purple. Almost like beetroot. B4 u say, no I've not been feeding him anything that colour! Its been like this for about 4 or 5 days now. Firstly I didnt think much of it but its still like that. Should I be concerned?

Called the doc this am, he is concerned that it could be a reoccurance of the sinus he had the op for at 5 wks. Except this time internally. I've to go down at 3.30. I've to walk there so i best go get organisedd. Its raining too!!
Let u know what happens xx

Hi girls thanx for the love xx
Well its semi positive. Its nothin serious he thinks. If it was an internal rupture it would be black blood and if it was a back passage rupture it would be more fresh red rather than this purple colour. Hwever he reckons its the strangest thing hes ever seen. He thinks it could be related somehow to the sinus and suspects that it may be discharging internally. He hopes not into the bowel, as he said is possible coz it could be causing a reaction to the poision, hence the strange colour. He thinks probably like his bum rather than the bowel. We're gettin a fast referal to the prof that did the op initially. He has another app but not till march. He wants us seen in the nxt 2 wks.
He was pretty surprised to be honest. When I said what it was like he was the usual, hmm yeah ok and asking questions. I then said I brought a sample incase you wanted it tested. When I handed him it he kind of looked and went 'Oh right its purple'. I looked at him as if to say well yes I said that. He then kind of laughed, 'Oh its not that I didnt believe you, I just didnt expect it to actually be that purple'. Docs ehh!
So the general consensus is that hes prob going to need another op, if its what he reckons it is.
I'm not going to worry just yet. Once I've seen the prof and he says the same I'll worry then. I swear they have a conspiracy between the 2 of them to make mummy go mad and lose her hair lol.
cheers for the support girls, dont know what I'd do without u
