That's exactly the problem - the bloody handlebars (plus I'd been helping my nan drink her sherry which didn't exactly make the instructions easy to understand)
Gary did Caitlin's bike for her birthday and that had brakes and everything too. How can a trike with a parent handle be so hard to assemble?

Well done for getting half way there with that trike Siany, especially after the sherry I'm assembling LOs trike tonight while hubbys at his works do. Looks like I might have some difficulty by the sounds of it, but I hate to ask hubby for anything...I like to look self-sufficient Hope it's got easy instructions, I haven't looked in the box yet. Hi
well done for 1/2 assembling bike - i'm sure I couldn't even do that as I have mega probs following the simplest ones. Why don't they sell these things ready assembled???!!! Should be a gainst the law.
Hope you are feeling well.

Have fun Scarlet (she says while snig gering evilly in sure knowledge that the trike will hurled through a window followed by the screwdriver and crappy instructions)
I'm with you Mon - you should be able to buy them ready - I'd willingly pay more!
So my morning has been shite. I've eaten 6 resuce remedy pastilles and about 8 Quality Street. Pay section cocked up my back pay - shock horror gasp. It's not exactly that shocking but I am mightily pissed off and have done zero work this morning now. I've spent 2 hours calling our HR (who HMRC in their wisdom have made a call centre!!) They then have to refer to Pay Control who have eventually sorted it out and arranged for a supplementary pay which will go in my bank on 15th Janaury. I'm £1000 short and that's after all the deductions. Actually £1000 in my pocket less.
I think someone out there is trying to break me - first the bank/mortgage crap, then direct debits coming out early, now pay messed up. GRRRRRRRR.
I am slightly calmer now I got to speak to a real live person who could actually help. She also gave me her direct line for the future - I was close to breaking by the time she called me and probably sounded as if I was deciding between uncontrollable sobbing and screaming blue bloody murder ;D ;D ;D. In truth, I think I was ;D
Who'd work for the government eh?!

Aw, did you Scarlet - not fair! I had to get hubby to help as I was ready to (as you say Siany) throw the whole b**dy lot out of the window...as it is, I think, I may have broken the brakes (put it this way, they don't work). Let's just hope I'm not posting about a toddler with broken bones next week hey? xx

That's the second time you've tried to se obscene language on your posts Siany, you naughty lady! It's political correctness gone mad. I do think somewhere out there is testing you, but they won't win. You're the winner babes. And just remember the spa waiting for you at Center Parcs in the new year, you'll get that back pay just in time... Sending you the biggest ever hug - and a cyber cranberry and vodka (large)!

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Vodka Cranberry. That's what I could buy for Xmas - what a good plan. I'm on the sherry again tonight
I skived off work today. Called in this morning to get a day off to sort out my house and ironing etc before my little sister arrives for Christmas. She's delayed at Amsterdam airport cos of the fog though so I may have gone quite a way down the sherry by the time she gets here :-)
I feel really pleased with myself tonight. It's sad but it's because I spent the whole day cleaning, throwing stuff out and attacking the ironing mountain. I'm going on the center parcs website in a sec to plan my treatments

Siany,
Hope you had a good Xmas and your LO likes her trike.
Can you believe it, I was so proud of myself putting up that trike...but turns out it is just too big for my 15 month old, so have had to dismantle it. Problem is I put it together so well, that we can't get the blooming handle bars off, and hubby doesn't want to force them in case they break, so I've put it in the bedroom in pieces, until his LO's legs grow a bit (prolly next Xmas at this rate), and today I'm off to buy him a push along, which I should have got him in the first place.
Could do with that vodka cranberry

LOL Scarlet!
We had a fantastic Christmas. Caitlin was SOOOOO excited and also opened Rhianna's presents when she got fed up of them. They've been very well behaved and I have really enjoyed myself with them. I even came into work late this morning so I could play a game with them first.
I was ill all weekend and dosed up on flu capsules, going to bed by 9pm. Come to think of it, it's probably that huge amount of sleep that made me so happy :-)

hmmm, can I have some of your sleep please?! You lazy swine, late to work and then all you do is make calls to our friends and update this website Glad you had a good christmas, you're a real success story for everyone who's starting out with PNI. Look back through the ups and downs and remember you're a very, very wonderful person (not that I'd ever say that to you face to face!). Lots of hugs, Bobyn xx
