Hi
So pleased mediation went well for you - fingers crossed things start moving quickly.
Must be nice having some debt out the way. I'm lucky I don't have huge debts just this rather large overdraft that never goes down. It's one less worry for you.
Hope the cold lifts quickly. It can really make you feel lousy - there's lots of nasty bugs around at the mo.

Had a rough night as kept coughing but feeling much better today. Still coughing but not feeling as bad in myself so hope its on its way out. Just done some painting with the kids, will try and post some pics later , this is the bit of home ed I love. They were doing pics of the sea and we got to talk about seaweed and stuff while they were doing it. I told hubby last night that it is a long time since I have felt happy deep down, it is great to feel like this again. I do still have downers but from what I have read this may continue for a long time yet. Just feel like I get more good days than bad. Can also cope with disasters at home now without needing Pete here, this is something I havent been able to do in a long time. Liz x

Afternoon Liz,
Sorry that you've been feeling crap, glad that you are on the mend, being ill when you have so many little ones to look after sucks. I used to do lots of painting with my eldest, he had pictures all around the living room walls at one time.
It's great that things are at last looking up for you. You'll be over this dreaded illness in no time, and you have a very supportive hubby by the sounds of it. I think the dregs of the illness can last a while, and crop up when we are under a bit of stress, until we are fully recovered, but life definitely becomes easier and more bearable.
Have a good day hun.

Hi
Glad you sound so positive. Yep, blips are very much part of the recovery process and pant but they'll get less intense over time.
The painting sounds great fun. i don't have a creative bone in my body but really should make the effort as the kids do love it.
Hoep your cough gets better. i swear by this syrup I make for thekids. Chop an onion and put in jar. Add a few spoons of honey, some garlic and ginger (fresh). Leave for a few hours so that the juices run and hey presto. Last a couple of days and works really well. Tastes ok as well.

Well I must be mad but I am thinking about going to work for a few hours a week. I think that it will help as I find actually doing things takes my mind off all the rubbish. Hubby is asking his boss tonight as he thinks there are some day shifts going, never worked with customers before as was a carer/auxiliary nurse before. Should be a laugh though as I am not known for keeping my mouth shut Cough not too bad this afternoon other than the odd coughing fit. Not heard from solicitor yet but not stressing as I know its slow progress but it will get us what we need in the end. Liz x

Only working in a pizza shop so nothing too stressful. Hubby is a driver there ( tips are good ) . I have been told not to go back to care work and I dont think my back would take it anyway. Not qualified for anything else so anything is better than nothing. Liz x

Best thing really - like you said, not too stressful. The last thing you want after PNI is to go back to a stressful job. This will give you some extra money and chance to talk to people who know nothing about you! Perhaps you'll get freebies too :-)

Hi Liz,
I've just read through all of your diary and wanted to say hi and tell you how amazingly well you're doing considering everything that you've been going through. I really hope you get the outcome you deserve from the court system, I'll keep checking back to see how that goes. Your family are gorgeous and it's such a lovely photo of all of you together. Keep fighting for the older ones, you're a great Mum and they obviously all think so too.
Love Bobyn x

Thought I would come in here and update you all. Well I am seeing the kids on 22nd. Have actually spoken to ex on the phone as I now have a contact number and sent a text asking about clothing sizes for them. Well we have changed things a bit and kids are now coming to my house. We are having our Christmas dinner on Saturday with them and have left putting our decs up so they can help too. Ex has also allowed me and others to speak to them on the phone !!!! I really think that keeping positive has helped me get through this. I have been a bit quiet as been having a few down days but yesterday when all the plans changed have worked wonders You lot have given me so much support that I will never forget it. Am getting back on top of things now and feeling a lot better. 2 littlies still a bit poorly but slowly getting better. Am hoping I can get kids to stay still long enough to get a pic on Saturday so you can see all my wonderful family. Can you tell I am on a high, lets hope I down come down with a bump Liz x
