Hi Gary Was catching up with your posts as have been away from my computor due to being in hospital myself with pni or whatever the dr diagnoses me with next!!!! Just wanted to pick up on what you said about ECT. I have had 2 lots of 12 sessions and found it very helpful although my memory is aboslubtly buggered (to use a technical term!). I cant remember loads of things - I;ll ask who bought my daughter a certain toy, for example, only be told it was me. ECT does definately help but it does have it draw backs.
The picture is beautiful by the way. Love Marion.

Hi Gary Brandon is lovely - really lovely. It is such a great picture . So glad he sleeps so well through the night - this can be a real help. Being tired due to a baby waking you up all night can really add to your difficulties. I am so glad he is doing so well and Lisa has been able to be home for 6 weeks so far and everything is going fine. I was not diagnosed with PP but experienced some of the symptoms that can happen with PP - audio hallucinations, disorganized thinking/thoughts, depersonalization etc I have some idea what you have both been through. I have found from my PNI and supporting others here that after the initial acute PP is over women who have had it can get very low and feel like they have failed as mothers and need lots of reassurance and time to re-establish their bond with their child and to feel that they are an important part of the family and not feel pushed out (as can we all who have had PNI) So I would say keep supporting her and being there for her over the next few months - but also let/assist her do more and more for herself and for Brandon and I hope and trust you have sufficient support in place for you too - as adjusting after PP can have its difficulties too, for all But you and Brandon and Lisa seem to be over the main hurdle . But please remember we are always here , and if Lisa wants to join us here too now she is home , she is very welcome Veritee XX

That fine Gary Just thought I would suggest it - but forums like this are not for everyone.
Just happy she is doing OK now as are you and Brandon. I do hope you will keep in touch though?
Your baby boy looks great
