Dear PNI ORG UK forum members
This is just to inform you that we are now registered as a charity with Mission Fish so we can now accept a percentage of any of your eBay sales as a donation to our charity PNI ORG UK. To do this when you list items you have to select our charity to get a percentage ranging from 10% to 100% of your sale minus the postage.
We hope if you sell anything on eBay you will consider sending a percentage to support us?
All the best
Veritee
Please note - there is a minimum donation to all charities of £2 so if what you are selling is of low cost or under this amount you will be required to donate the difference between the sale and £2 yourself. Therefore unless you want to donate £2 yourself, if what you are selling is likely to go for under £2 it would be better not to donate a % of that item to us

Don't worry, most of mine went for very little too or have not sold!! Except for my holiday let, and no one has bought that I was just letting people know just incase they wanted to do it. But only if they had things to list that would bring in enough that they would not lose out too much from donating a small % We all need the little bits of money we get from eBay- well I do anyway Love Veritee

Great - someone from here has listed an item in ebay with 10% to us - see: cgi3.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=sin-full-desireAs you can see its a useful little item that I never imagined even existed ;)which I would consider buying myself if I had an iPod - but Barry's got one which he has taken with him to sea, perhaps a present for him LOL But seriously though - whoever you are thanks and the write up on your eBay home page is really great!! Hi Veritee. That was me as you may have guessed. After reading this post I decided to give it a try. Ran out of time but I do have loads more items that I can list, only trouble is because of their nature they have a tendancy of being pulled off (thats why I'm using hubby's ebay account) or I just plain can't list them. I'm glad you are pleased with the me page, I ment to get in touch and check it was OK to pinch the picture? But like I said ran out of time. Cool little gadget though isn't it very popular over xmas and valentines (some lucky ladies missed out on the standard bunch of roses this year).

Well I hope they don't withdraw it! I cant see what is wrong with it you can buy this type of item all over the net and if they are worried about children- no one can bid if they are not a member and I thought you had to be over 16 (over the age of consent ) to be a member? Actually I have just checked it is over 18 although in their 'user agreement' contract they hedge their bets and do not make this totally clear that membership is only for age 18 and above pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/user-agreement.htmlI suppose they are worried about those who have permission from parents to be a member and whose parents have signed up for them? If they are worried about children just seeing any listings like this I would have thought that it would be down to the parents to monitor children's use of the net and perhaps eBay to put them in a section that can only be viewed by registered members- not hard to do as we have sections even on here that only registered members - over 18- can view! I could not find anything your item would come under in their Prohibited and Restricted Items list pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/items-ov.htmlWhat category are they saying items like this come under? If they pull it perhaps you can write to them and suggest that instead of denying people who want them the chance to buy such items - they just make it only so their members - who all should be at least over 18 - can see them! Not that it would do anything but as a member of eBay for over 9 years I would be happy to write to eBay saying this - as I really can not see why adult members who are all supposed to be over 18, or they should not be using the site anyway, should not be able to buy 'adult items' on ebay if they so wish as long as the items do not break any pornography laws etc which this little object does not!! Others on this site might have a different view - but i am happy for any % of a sale of this item coming to help us mums Veritee XX PS sorry if I am making much of this but I am a great believer of freedom of the Internet - as long as children are protected etc and they are if they can not be members of ebay unless over 18 ( after all some of the things we have talked about on this forum might not be 'allowed' if the Internet was strictly controlled and by others values - )

Yep it didn't last the night. I was doing quite well with these sorts of things around xmas. Then ebay discovered what it was and loads of them disappeared. What really annoys me is that there are 2 other people on ebay selling OhMiBods to The problem they have is anything that is related to sex or shows / imitates part of the reproductive system. I have been particually selective in my auctions, the fleash lights were going well to and I personally can't see why I had a cone removed. (is anyone keeping up with this?) Trouble is the lingerie doesn't sell, too much competition. I have also seen people selling rampant rabbits on there and they have not been pulled off. This is basically why I am using Hubbys ebay account. Mind has a feedback of 430 ish so I don't want to risk being banned. I set up another account to so I could just keep listing, when you get an item pulled off they refund your fee. So if you have the time you just keep listing. Will put a couple more things up in a day or two.

Have you anything to sell?If anyone has any items they are happy to sell on behalf of our charity PNI ORG UK but can not be bothered to do the actual listing - I am happy to list them for you under our charity ebay account. All you would have to do is send me a digital photograph of the item via email and what it is and I will list it and deal with the bidding etc. You would have to post the item off to the winner and we would re-inverse you for the postage via paypal A chance to get rid of all those unwanted items that you do not want but feel you can not throw away. As this will serve several purposes: - It will recycle your unwanted items - someone will get further use from them and better for the environment
- It gets rid of your clutter
- You will be benefiting this charity
