Hi all
My LO has suddenly started rolling over at naptimes and in the mornings, I think to reach her toys in the cot.
She has been able to roll for ages but just hasn't done it in the cot and now gets stuck on her front and squeals for help (!)
This is all fine cos I am guessing the novelty will wear off and she will learn to roll back but in the process she is getting all twisted up in her grobag.
The only other thing I can think of putting her in is a fleecy sleepsuit over her babygro, but this time of year they are a bit think on the gorund in the shops. Ebay is my next hope but that takes a while so does anyone have any other ideas about keeping her warm at night (blankets don't work cos she just kicks them off)??
xx

keep ebay in mind, but for now, try putting her to bed in her socks and a hat with her pj's. you can also warm the cot up with a hot water bottle and take it away when you place her in there. thats what i did anyway.

My LO always had a cellular blanket, though admittedly she too kicked it off. She slept in ordinary babygros and she was fine. TBH i was always abit panicy about her over heating.
You could check out Mothercares website for ideas, and then source cheaply, like Caz's suggestion of ebay??

You could try putting a vest under her pj's or babygro. Like yours my LO would kick off her blankets (and still does) and would not sleep in a grobag.
I also used to warm her cot ad Caz suggested

Babygrow with a pair of socks on and a cardi works wonders. I managed to find the suits in Ethel Austin, they are like gold dust to buy without spending a fortune. I got another one from Primark at Christmas. Seems like everywhere thinks its summer already Liz x

Thanks! Loads of ideas there, am bidding on a couple on ebay at the moment, ending vvv soon. Am checking out Primark tomorrow too. Like you say everywhere thinks it is summer, well everywhere except the weather that is! While am waiting will try the cardi idea too. Already using long sleeved vests under babygros. Our house is quite cold so am paranoid about her being too cold (not that she has ever woken from being too cold! )
