We now have a Photobucket account that people who use the forum can post and share their photograps and videos
And you can use it to post pictures on posts on here too
Here is the new community photo bucket access details
Username: PNI-Community
Password: ask for it by email - only available to forum members
Please upload all your picture for articles and items on the community site to here too
Instructions on how to to use a picture
On here:
Upload your picture into our Photobucket account then...
Just paste the IMG Code - which is under each picture into your posts or
Press the image button an the post toolbar, go back to your image in photobucket and post the direct link from under your image in your post where their are two IMG tags
On the community site:
Community site is here: pni-community.org.uk/
Users who register with the community site will be made into 'authors' and can now post links, articles and images there too.
copy the path to it from photobucket - the path is below each image in photobucket - for the community site copy the 'Direct Link' not any of the others.
and then in the entry space ( where you type the article) click 'insert image' ( the little tree picture) on the toolbar above - and in the box that opens up
just paste the path into where it says image URL
If you want to tell it to put the picture on one side or another :
in the appearance tab - set the alignment i.e left, right, top middle, bottom etc
Please note it works best if you can upload pictures that are no bigger than 200x200 as any bigger may push the design of the site out.
However if they are bigger ( whether you do not know how to change an image file dimensions or you want a bigger picture that takes up the full size of the page )
you can just use the Appearance tab again to change the picture to a suitable size. If you want it to be inside the text a maximum of 150x150 to 250x250 is probably best.
However you can have your picture bigger if you want to .
Just experiment by saving and then going back to edit it again - until the picture is the size you want and fits in on the page without pushing the design of the page out
Any problems ask me
