getting back to being the old me!

Hi All

I just wanted to say that I have been to the doctors today and they have signed me fit for work! So so pleased as I feel this is the next step to recovery. I have been off work since Feb and it feels like an eternity.

I know I feel 100 times better due to being on new meds and getting the support I needed. My work have stated I am being medically redeployed - I was a child protection social worker and I know that it is too stressful at the moment. I have two interviews this week - one tommorrow and one on wed and I am likely to be shortlisted for another.

I really feel it is on the way up rather than down or stalemate.

I cant thank this site enough for getting me through the last 6 months.

Lets hope it carrys on going up!!!

I will keep you posted on the job front.

Hi All

My first interview today at 12.00 - getting all nervous but not too much! Will be good for me - even for the experience of interview as todays one I dont really want but thought it would be good experience for the others.

And Chica I think your comment about them all tripping over each other is coming true - I am getting shortlisted for every job I have applied for and even had an agency phone up yesterday saying they have lots of jobs for me and will pay lots more due to my experience!! What a position to be in!!!!!

Fingers cross I get a job soon.

Will let you know how it goes.

well I went for my first interview and it was so good, didnt mess up on any question and I felt it was really good - couldnt of done any better - sounds like a lot going for the job - 5 yesterday, more today and more next week. I dont think I want the job though as it is shift work in a residential childrens home - including sleep ins and weekend work which just wouldnt suit me but it was good for the experience.

The one I want is tommorrow!! it is at 1.30pm so fingers cross it goes as well.

Well todays interview didnt go as well but hey ho if it was meant to be i will get it. I got another phonecall today to say I have been shortlisted for two more jobs and interviews will be on 8th Aug so I was pleased with that as one of them I want!!!

Feeling good today though and I know I must be getting better if I can go through the interview stress. I had to wait 45 mins as they were running late today!!! so bloody annoying

Oh well things happen for a reason
