Face the fear or hide away?

Is it better to face situations and people while you have pni as you would if your didnt have pni or is sometimes better to hide away awhile until you feel better?

Hi Smiley - often wondered about this too.
I found that it was a bit of a balancing act - I wanted to 'keep doing' those things I was at risk of stopping doing all together (going out with babay, driving, working etc.) - but if I felt it was doing more harm than good and causing me to nosedive/ step backwards I avoided it and accepted that I might need a bit nore time..

...don't know if this makes any sense?

I agree with you H and was much the same. Tries to face the fear when I could, but I was very aware of when it was gonna all be too much and and would back off and hide a bit then. To this day I think I did right with the balancing act.
