I cried with happiness making a Christmas cake with my hubby & son last Sunday! (I felt such an idiot!) After 2 years of hell with Puerperal Psychosis this was such a simple thing, but it meant so much to me. It was proof that we’ve come through all the misery and moved on and put it all behind us - which has taken some doing! It was symbolic of the end of the bad times and the start of a truly wonderful life!
Those little things are a million times more special now!!!

Thanks a lot WG. I felt a bit daft posting that but I'm sure all the ladies on here understand what a big deal it was.
I wonder what other special moments people on here have had, like my cake and your daughters' pressies??

Last night i tucked my LO (2 and half) into bed and the usual routine is:
Me: Night night, I love you
LO: Night Night mummy.
But last night it was:
Me: Night night, I love you
LO: Night night mummy, I love you.
Me: I love you more
LO: I love you more
ME: (half way out of the door): I love you more
LO (shouting so i can hear her from top of stairs) : I love YOU more
Me: (hovering at bottom of stairs): I love You more
LO: (shouting so loud that next door are pricking their ears up): I LOVE YOU MORE
Me: (sat on bottom of stairs as i dont want conversation to end): I love you more
And so it went on, you get the picture. Not very emotional person myself but had a bit of a happy sniffle...

Mine love making things and if you make cards for family they seem to love them even more. My poor 6 year old is the only one who can write so she had the job of writing in them all and there were about 20 of them lol Liz x

Andrea - one of my first 'little things mean so much' moments was shortly after I started the antids. I drove my son to the park (comfortably) and walked the circuit with him (anxiety free). We had a lovely chat. It was special
