I've noticed a few people post using the proboards mobile app. Unfortunately this is just for the iPhone, but I wondered in anyone knew of a similar android app? I've had a quick search and there's an app called Tapatalk but forum owners have to download a plugin so users with tapatalk could access their desired forum on their phone. Anyone know anything about this? I'd love to have designated app for my htc because I hardly have time on the laptop these days.

I use proboards for iPhone but not sure with Android.
I used to have an android and they usually have a android version of iPhone apps... Have you looked at the android website as you can usually get more info on apps from there?
If you can't see anything you could email the support team to ask them as they would know if there is a suitable alternative app?

WG the proboards app is fab! You have to buy the full version to reply to posts tho, I just stick to 'latest' mainly, as whenever someone posts, in any topic, it shows in there.
It really is worth downloading as I don't get on my laptop much but I can always access this from my iPhone, trying to use the website directly from my phone is difficult so it's great for me!

Ooo now I'm jealous of you two with iPhones and ipads. I'm on the full site now from my phone and it's a bit of a pain hence my search for an app.
Yeah, I've had a look on android market and the tapatalk app is what came up. WG do you think Vee might be able to download the free add on from the tapatalk site so android users could connect via the app? Only the forum owner can sort that apparently.

Plus proboards on their site said if the iPhone app kicks off well they might develop an android app. Don't know why there wouldn't be interest to be honest.

Hooray! I am currently using the Proboards for Android app and it's great. It became available on 20th and can be found on the Android market by searching proboard.
Unfortunately it's not free, perhaps because it is so new. But still it only costs £1.85.
Finally I can envy iPhones slightly less, lol.
