Just been watching the news and was wondering where everyone was when they heard about 9/11 sort of nosy I know but always interesting.
Me I was in an office on the outskirts of Paris with two miserable gits, took me days to get home because of the planes.

Hi
I haven't had chance to watch news or read papers - it was such a horrific event.
I was on sick leave having had a miscarriage. I can remember a news bulletin came on following Neighbours and having just watched the latter it felt surreal that a plane (later two) could fly into the Twin Towers. Just awful...

Hi,
Me and my sister have been watching the documentaries that have been on over the past week or so and its fascinating how horrific it still is to watch it happening even after 10 years! Usually the 'horrifying' aspect of these things fade over time but even now its still so unbelievable isn't it??
Monica i too had been watching Neighbours as Kirsty was only 2 and was having her afternoon nap, there was the news bulletin and i remember standing in the middle of the living room open mouthed staring at the tv for goodness knows how long because my then mother-in-law and sister-in-law came in and Kirsty was awake! I still remember the feeling of disbelief at what i was seeing!!

I was at work at a all centre and then people starting running in saying 'the news, twin towers new York etc etc!' so I ran into the break room where loads of people were crammed in and just stood in shock watching, thinking it must be a joke and getting really upset when I realised it wasn't.
It was so upsetting and everyone felt the same which was weird. Usually some people just don't care but everyone was just in total shock and disbelief an was so upset
So upsetting, R.I.P to all those lives lost...

My aunt lives in manhattan, she was supposed to be at a breakfast meeting in wall street just bt the twin towers. But instead she went up by the un building and was not involved.
