So pleased to hear you have turned a corner Jess acceptance is key I think, letting the anxiety come and go while doing our best to do everything we want to do. Hope the positive weeks continue for you xx

All continues to go well. That's not to say I never feel bad but that I am dealing with it so much better now. I really feel that I can manage well at this level. I've even booked a drs appointment to see about slowly reducing the venlafaxine. I've read all kinds of awful stories about people coming off it so I want to do it s-l-o-w-l-y as possible. Will see what she says.
Xx

Another pretty good week. All had been going well. Went out with my besties on Friday night and had a great time...then the hangover hit! Saturday I felt rough and fed up but that's to be expected with the amount we drank (whoops). Then today I was really wobbly, felt anxious, shaky, hot and cold and up and down. Thought it was another day of hangover. Then about 8ish I realised I had forgotten my Venlafaxine, sheesh! Makes me realise that coming of it might be very hard work!

Pretty good week again few wobbly moments but OK. Saw Dr yesterday and I've now reduced to 112.5mg of Venlafaxine. Feeling a little anxious today, not caused by the reduction just me worrying about it a bit. Hopefully all will be well this week xx

Well I'm 3 days into reducing meds and I am wobbling a bit. My main issue is anxiety and my mood is like a yoyo. Nothing too awful just feeling a bit anxious, flat and down at times. I'm almost certain it's nothing to do with reducing meds as it's only a tiny decrease. I just think I've just unfortunately reduced at the same time as having a dip. I've also got a cold which doesn't help and again had a drink Friday and think alcohol/hangover makes things so much worse. Think I'm going to avoid drinking for a while.
I'm OK when busy and hopefully work will be good. I just feel so wobbly around my lovely little flower. It's awful but when I'm with her I feel stressed and desperate to get some peace! I just wish I could feel relaxed and content around her. We do have fun too of course.
She's napping now and I'm having a lie down and trying to relax a little and get rid of that racing feeling in my chest.

Well once I got back to work I was fine again and I can honestly say I've been feeling really good on this lower dose. I even coped looking after Flower alone for 2 days and nights whilst Mr on training. I know it doesn't sound much but to me that's a big deal! Normally i'd have really struggled.
