Hi! I gave birth 16 months ago...I wasn't able to breastfeed, had PUPP syndrome and severe baby blues. My first panic attack was actually during pms which was a month and a half after birth. Called ER, they took ECG which showed certain abnormalities and they kept me in hospital claiming it could be heart attack. All the tests turned OK, but after this incident I wasn't. Since then I head panic attacks daily, measured my BP and pulse all the time, blood sugar, temperature..I had severe back pain, stomach issues, IBS, hot flashes, chills, dry mouth then excess saliva, headaches, hair falling down etc...All the tests came back normal...but I'm constantly in fear of ilnesses, death...that my daughter will grow up without her mom. All this stress is making me depressed..Whenever I have to go to the doctor I start panicking that something bad will happen..Sooooo much fear inside my head!

Hello and welcome
I'm so sorry you've been struggling with PNI for quite along time - having frequent panic attacks is awful. I can completely relate to the health anxiety as I suffered from this too and it was so debilitating.
On the plus side it sounds as if your physical symptoms have been thoroughly checked out do there is no other physical cause. It's quite unbelievable how these symptoms can be linked to PNI but they can be.
Are you getting any other help and support ? Counselling for instance and cognitive behavioural therapy can be really good in combatting negative thought patterns ie the panic that you will die/are seriously ill. These thoughts can quickly become automatic responses and you have to unlearn them. Would you consider any medication? Anti depressants can be very helpful too - there are pros and cons to them do best to speak to your dr.
There are other things worth trying out too. Exercise can be hugely helpful - it releases endorphins and burns off nervous energy . Learning relaxation techniques helps too. Do keep talking as we really understand herex
