Southerngirl that would be great. With regards to exercise, well if running after a 1 year old is exercise, than that's about it. Oh I do walk to/from school with my eldest, but don't get time to go to the gym or anything like that. A 15 min workout is all I could manage at the moment...nothing too strenuous though Bums, tums and thighs, and flabby arms stuff would be good.

Liz and if you have some good quorn recipes please include them. I've never cooked with it myself, but they do sell it in the shops over here... & I'd like to give it a try. Thanks ;D

Quorn can replace meat in most recipes, tastes like chicken I use the Quorn mince to do mince and mash and it tastes just the same as minced beef. Liz x

Quorn is nice and low calorie. My hubby's veggie so we eat it a lot. Recently found quorn beef which we had in a stew - nice a low calorie and low fat.
Diet is going well. Couple of people have said I've lost weight off my face. Am going at it hard core this first couple of weeks. Am sort of doing atkins - have cut out almost all carbs and eat salads and fruit. I WILL LOSE WEIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winegirl,
I couldn't install that little diet software programme, so am going to post another.
How did the weigh in go. I was really good yesterday, no choccies or junk. I cut down my portion size as well, but was a bit hungry when I went to bed ~ Hope that goes. This is the heaviest I've ever been and none of my clothes fit me...I had to dig out my pregnancy jeans again *bloody miffed at this, frowns*.

Well girls, I didn't doo too well this week, and today when I weighed myself I'd actually gained 2llbs It doesn't help that hubby, who has been doing a diet half-heartedly has lost 2llbs. I'm really going to try harder this week and get myself motivated, but I think I've been comfort eating due to PMT. Also it's so blooming cold and there's not much else to do than to curl up inside the house and eat.

Right, think I am just about back with you. This cough has really knocked me for 6 and I havent been able to get to the gym for ages. Going to give it a go tomorrow, just gentle on treadmill or bike. I really thought I would have put on weight as have not really kept a check on anything. I started at 14 stone and am now 13 st 8, I was gobsmacked. Right, lets get some exercises for you lot. Tummy Small sit ups, knees bent and just reach till you touch knees. 2 x 20
Lay down knees bent and reach towards ankles so you swing sideways. You wont get far to start with but it gets easier. This helps strengthen all round. 2 x 20 left then right side equals a 1 count.
Saggy arms Sit on edge of a chair then lower yourself off and dip slightly so your arms bend. 2 x 20
Grab a bottle full of water or tin of beans etc. Hold in both hands behind head and straighten and bend arms. 2 x 20 ( dont hit yourself on the back of head lol )
These are just a few things you can do which dont take long at all. If anyone wants some more let me know. Also I think there were a few more areas, will have to check or just ask and I will see what I can come up with. Liz x

I'm in with this too!
I put on loads of weight since my accident and a few months ago I was 12 stone 3 and about a size 20.
I am also about 5ft 2 as well!! I am now down to 11 stone 8 and a size 16 and in some makes 14 in jeans but an 18 up top ( I always thought when you reached menopause your bust got smaller but it has been the opposite for me , which sort of explains all those matronly big busted women of a certain age I see as I have joined them!! funny as before menopause they were really small!!)
But the size I am now on the bottom half is an improvement but I want to get below 11 stone as a goal.
I have been doing aqua aerobics twice weekly - went this morning, which is really helping me as I am limited to what I do above water due to my bad leg - I have also been cycling and eating healthy foot i.e lots of veg and not much else. But I am hopeful that I will one day get a bit of my figure back so I will join the 'mostly 5ft 2' weight loss attempt!!
