I have decided to go on a diet. I don't actually know how much I weight because I don't have any scales (my excuse anyway), but I went to the zoo the other day and got on some scales there, and I was within the weight range of a wart~hog (between 70kg and 80kgs) . Needless to say, I wasn't impressed, so from Monday I have decided to start a diet. ;D Anyone feel well enough to join me, then please do. We could have a weekly weigh in or something to chart or progress and help each other with foods, say what we've eaten, give each other support etc. I'm gonna get myself some scales this week, so I can weigh myself looking forward to that NOT.......

Losing a pound is like rocket science to me! My eating habits are terrible and every time I try living off salad Im so hungry the dizziness sets in and i end up diving in to bad food again. AAAGH. What hapened the skeleton I used to be!

Yep you can count me in too. Anyone remember my mad gotta loose 5 stone in like 2 days panic I had in April when I thought I was pregnant? Well as you know I wasn't and so the mad panic sort of subsided very quickly and the weight continued to pile on instead. oops

How about Monday for the big weigh in girls.
I think I'm over 11 stones now, and I'm only 5ft 2. So I guess it's a couple of stone for me. Want to get to around 9 stones. Gonna buy myself some scales on Thursday when I get into the town.

I too am on a diet - started on sunday and is going ok so far but my god am I hungry!!!!!!!!! The problem is that still bein in hospital it's all potatos, pies and pudding so I am living on salads right now. They really feed you up in here! Dont have any scales so cant tell how much I loose but I hink my face looks a little thinner.
I'm a size 18 and have always been a 12/14 and would like to get down to a 14/16 this time.
Love Marion.

I am 5'2 as well so need to lose loads. Diets are awful, I have decided never to go on a diet again as such, just to try and retrain myself what to eat. If you look at things this way then you can have the odd treat, stopping yourself makes you want it more I use to be into fitness and stuff and have recently got back into it again so I will help wherever I can. I am also a veggie so this makes things easier as Quorn which is a meat replacement is less fatty than meat Liz x

Winegirl, Liz, Yay!! join the 5ft 2 club. Actually when I worked, I shared an office with 4 other girls and we were all 5ft 2". We used to call our office the 5ft 2" office ;D.
I have tried a smaller portion size, (by using smaller plates) and it always worked for me in the past.

Smaller portion sizes have been working for me too. Lots of water and tried to cut out packet meals (noticed how much saturated fat in those things).
But it is hard...!

Yep, I use a smaller plate than everyone else. Since going on the meds I still cant eat a biggish meal anyway. Quorn is lovely. We make loads of stuff with the quorn pieces as whole family love them. Also I love the Linda mcCartney sausages, means I can still have same meals as family so kids dont think I am eating differently. So what do you lot do for exercise then. I havent been down the gym for a week now Lots going on at home and feel like I never have enough time. Need to do some bits at home so will work something out and put it on here if you fancy it. Anyone got any specific areas to work on and I will try and help. Liz x
