OK girls here goes, need some advice!! I've been off the pill a mere 3 weeks and hubby and I have been trying to make a baby It's too early to do a preg test as I'm not even late yet but my belly is very bloated..to the point where my normally loose boy fit, hang on my hips, jeans are tight around my belly! Also I've feeling 'pressure' in my abdomen. It doesn't feel like the run up to a period as I never usually have any physical symptoms..I just turn into a snarling beast! I didn't have this with my 1st preg..in fact I didn't know I was preg until I had my head down the bog a few times a day! Is this what happens with a 2nd preg? I can't help but think that it's far too early to be having all these signs and it's just wishful thinking but I can't come up with any other explanation. Did this happen to anyone else? (Plus twins run in both our families and it skipped last generation..could it be 2 little babies making themselves known?? EEEK!) Cheers xxxxxx

Caterina,
You know girlie, I was thinking about you this morning and wondering if you might be pregnant soon....crikey, I must be a psychic (if you are that is ~ winks)
You can sometimes tell around 3 weeks hun (although every pregnancy is different), boob tenderness, tingly nipples...extra cervical mucus, swollen boobies and abdomen. When is your period due? Some of those pregnancy tests are accurate around 3-4 weeks.
I have my fingers and toes crossed for you.
Love Scarlet X

Good luck and fingers crossed for you!
As you can see from my script underneath the laughing monkey, I am the mother of twins!! Although it was not my second time around, so I cannot compare to how you were on your first (god hope that makes sense), but I must admit my hubby kept on saying your pregnant, which actually I got quite upset about, as I had always been told that it could not happen, so I found it upsetting for him to be saying that I was. I must have been about 3/4 weeks then. Also regarding waist line, I was not very little in the first place, but at 4 months pregnant I had the size of a 7/9 month pregnancy lump!!!!! Keep us posted, and let us know ASAP.
Sending you love and hugs Chica

Thanks ladies, so I'm not crazy then? I would be due a period in about a week (I think!) so can so can do a test then, just find it a bit bizarre (if it is pregnancy) that I would know this early! My hubby reckons it's wind awaiting escape! I used to have a very flat tummy before my 1st preg which I never really got back but I looked side on in the mirror yesterday and I looked about 5 mo preg! Will keep you posted girls! Oh and as for sore boobies, I was in the shower yesterday and the water against my boobs was making me wince. Very bizarre! xxx

PS Scarlet, when you say extra cervical mucus do you mean vag discharge? coz that's there too. Sorry if that's TMI!! ;D xxx

Be forewarned TMI ALERT.... ;D OK Caterina hun, usually when you are due a period, your cervical mucus (vaginal discharge) dries up a little, however when you are pregnant, it remains more abundant (usually creamy whitish). Sore boobies is a biggie, after speaking to many women (I used to belong to 'fertilty friends' can't you tell ;D). Although it can happen before a period as well. Don't know whether you ever check yourself, but when you are pregnant your cervix becomes flat and smooth, and it doesn't come lower down like it does before a period and remains high. Other things to look out for, a metallic taste in your mouth..I remember that one, knew I was pregnant before I tested. Also pain in lower abdomen just under belly-button. I think you can test at around three and half weeks, so you'll know soon hun.... Fingers, toes and eyes crossed for you Hugs Scarlet X

Told hubby to go past Tesco on the way home and get one of those early tests..I HAVE TO KNOW NOW! Will keep you posted xx

Hi
Good luck and let us know - am thinking of you. I found that many of my pregnancies have been different. With my eldest I didn't have any symptoms other than metallic taste. Then subsequent ones had the sore boobs but last one didn't have anything initially. So what i'm trying to say is I can't help you there!!! But I do know that after a first child your womb changes shape and many women find that their bump starts becomes more nticeable earlier on.
Love
Monica
