I was hoping to blame those blasted meds, lol! Oh well, it's the babes is it - but they make it all worth it because they are so adorable ... if only the men had to pay a price too!

Well it's weigh in day today and I'm pleased to say I am back in track and have lost 2lb. So that's the 1lb I put on over my holiday off plus one more.
New stats:
Height: 5ft 3 Starting weight: 12st Current weight: 1ost6 Goal weight: 8st7 Current BMI: 26
Weight to lose: 49lb Weight lost so far: 22lb in 17 weeks
My husband has stopped counting his points and is eating rubbish again but is still managing to lose weight - can't believe it! It's so much easier for men. He's 2lb off losing a stone and hasn't been doing it as long as me. I am proud of him though because he's never wanted to lose the weight before, and since his Dad died of heart problems and was overweight too, I am glad my husband is doing something about it.
I am a little surprised I lost 2lb because I only kept a mental tally of the points I was eating each day rather than using the WW online tracker, and that leaves a lot of room for error. I think I need to step up my game but it's definitely harder to remain motivated this far into dieting. Perhaps because I am less unhappy with my weight now than I was, but I'd still like to get back to my pre pregnancy weight especially if I am planning to have another baby.

Well done Natasha.
Although you have only been tracking your points mentally you are probably so used to the diet now that you find it quite easy to do. If the weight's coming off though you must be doing something right!!
It's annoying how men think of losing weight and it happens. My OH is the same. It's just not fair. We have to do the whole time of the month thing and pregnancy and birth. I think it only fair that we get to keep our figures!!

I agree Lars, we women have so much to put up with. Plus when men put on weight it's only ever on their bellys whereas we get it all over!

Humph! Humph! Stomp, stomp, bang, bang.
Can you tell I am in a bad mood?
Got on scales this morning expecting to stay the same but hoping for a loss, only to find I've gained 1lb.
It's so not fair. I wasn't particularly good last week but neither was I bad. To be honest I might not have been eating enough some days and other days gone over points. This week I might have to go back to tracking what I eat online, if only to see where I am going wrong. I am soooo fed up of dieting and watching what I eat.
I am much happier with my weight these days but not enough to give up yet and stay where I am. I still want to lose at least another 1st or 1st1/2. If Andrea could do it after the dreaded PP meds on her own steam without doing WW than so can with the help of WW.
What's killing me is that my hubbie has stopped WW but is still losing weight! I'm pleased for him but just wish it would work like that for me.
I am frustrated because initially I lose 1st in 9 weeks, and over the last 9 weeks I've only lost 7lb. It's going to take forever to get to goal at this rate.
New stats:
Height: 5ft 3 Starting weight: 12st Current weight: 1ost7 Goal weight: 8st7 Current BMI: 26
Weight to lose: 49lb Weight lost so far: 21lb in 18 weeks

Mate - look at that bigger picture - 21Ib in 18 weeks is AMAZING! There is me with 10Ibs in 20 weeks! We all have good weeks and bad weeks, mine was pants last week too so trying hard this week (she says as i hear my chicken tikka masala bubbling away) - this week will be better - keep battling hun!!

Thanks WG. I needed that encouragement. Yeah, this week WILL be better.
Enjoy your curry! By the way, if you want a low fat version and a meal for one, the WW ready meal tikka massala is gorgeous and only 6.5 points (that's without naan bread) but the portion on the small side.

Know I shouldn't but I had a peek on the scales this morning and I've lost 3lb! Couldn't believe it so got on again and the same result flashed up - 10st4lb. Really hope I can keep it like that for next week's weigh in on Monday.
Today has been a bad food day because it was someone's birthday at work and I have had a jam doughnut, a thin slice of homemade cake and crisps. Ooops. Plus I think hubby is cooking a korma tonight.
Oh well, will be better tomorrow.

Thanks, but it may have been fluke. That night the scales said 10st6 and today they say 10st5, so won't get my hopes up for a huge loss on Monday. Just shows you should only weigh once a week ....

Yeah, and I'm so pleased cos I lost 3lb! Only got on the scales once because didn't want to jeapodise it. So I'm back on track and it feels as though I never put in that lb last week. Quite surprised cos I'm due on and usually that makes me heavier. AND I'm 1lb away from getting to a BMI of 25 which is in the healthy range, wayhey!
New stats:
Height: 5ft 3 Starting weight: 12st Current weight: 1ost4 Goal weight: 8st7 Current BMI: 26
Weight to lose: 49lb Weight lost so far: 24lb in 19 weeks

WELL DONE natasha. It shows that you can get back on track after a holiday. The art of losing weight is quite simple but it's the mental side that is the hardest and you have done so well. I am only 1/2 inch taller than you and would give my right arm to be 10st 4lb at the moment. I can't imagine being 8.7 stone but I know I will get there eventually. It will probably take me a year or so though! x

Thanks girls! I love sharing on here (it's so much better than the WW forum!)
Larsbars, you'll get there I'm sure. My aim was to get to goal by Christmas ( a total of 8 months on the diet) but to be realistic I think it may take longer since I keep having these set backs every few weeks. However I am determined.
One thing is bugging me though, after losing all this weight, my bust size is still the same. I went from a 30FF (I've always been big) to a 30GG during pregnancy and then after all the weight gain from meds a 30HH! I HATE them and would love a reduction op, but why haven't they got smaller yet? And what if they get bigger during another pregnancy? That would be terrible. Everyone said they would go down again after I gave birth but they never did. I can only shop at bravissimo.com for underwear and they are so expensive. Have told hubbie that if they stay the same size or get bigger I am definitely going under the knife even if we have to take out a loan to pay for it. I don't think I'd get one on the NHS on account of them not giving me backache or anything - does low self-esteem count for needing a free op?
