Apparently you can gain anywhere between 1Ib and 4 Ib at that time of the month - so without it you would probably have lost!!

Ok so lost the 1lb I put on last week, but am a bit miffed as I thought I'd lose a bit more since one time in the week the scales showed I'd lost 2lb. But to be honest I didn't really watch my points that well, so it's my own fault. It was those blasted Mince Pies! I blame Tesco for stocking them so early. Did you know they are 5 weight watcher points? Nearly a 3rd of my daily allowance!

I am NOT looking forward to weigh in on Monday. I tried to be good all week, but have had a few slip ups. But my sneaky peaks on the scales show I have put on a 1lb again. So fed up. If I don't lose anything or put on I will be so fed up. Guess I just need to step up the game. Have actually cancelled my weight watchers subscription because can't really afford it anymore, but am going to carry on doing it just without the online support. Might join again nearer to goal to check I'm still on the same number of points.

OK, weigh in today and I was the same. 10st4. Am not impressed and a bit fed up since I've been this weight for weeks now. It's so frustrating.
Right, new start today I think. Going to make a real effort to stay within my points each day and not eat crap just for the sake of it.
NEED to see my weight go down next week. Feeling desperate now.

Yeah, weigh in tomorrow. I'm hoping I've lost 2lb as I've had sneaky peaks on the scales throughout the week, but worried I've put it back on over the weekend as I've had the munchies for sweet things, not good. Scared I'll be the same again. How about you?

Wow, I lost 3lb! So pleased. 1lb to go and I'll have lost 2 stone. Plus my BMI is now within the healthy range, albeit at the top end.
Going to be good again this week so I can see those 9s on my scales!

I don't know if there is much point carrying on this diary now I have had a positive pregnancy test! I guess my weight will be going up from now on, but not by too much I hope.
Didn't stick to diet at all last week because I was a bag of nerves about being PG, so not surprisingly I have put on 1lb. I reckon half of that is my bloated tummy.
I do intend on eating healthily and maybe keeping an eye on how many points I eat a day. I've read you don't need extra calories until the 3rd trimester and even then it's only an extra 200-500 a day.
If it's anything like my first pregnancy I was sick for weeks with hyperemesis and lost 1 stone, so I may still lose some weight although I don't really want to be sick again, yuk yuk!
Apparently the weight gain for the first trimester is 2-4lbs, which is nothing. I could put that on in a week if I don't watch what I eat, so had better be careful.
The downside of not having lost all the weight I wanted before getting pg is that none of my old maternity clothes will fit this time round as they were all size 10 or small. And if my boobs get any bigger I will scream! They haven't gone back down after last time.
Maybe I will keep this diary up and keep track of how much weight I gain during this pregnancy and then I'll still be in the frame of mind to lose weight again after baby is born. I don't know ... will wait and see how I feel each week. Don't want to be paranoid about scales as well as everything else!

Definately keep the thread up just for interest in how much weight you gain! I know that I put on 6stone in pregnancy! (yes she was a big baby - but obviously not that big lol)
Hope you dont suffer the awful sickness! I was fortunate that I didnt when i was pregnant (lucky as I am emetophobic!), and my MW thought it might be because all i did was eat and it kept my sugar levels up!
Much love to you

Woh, 6 stone! How heavy was LO when she was born?
OK, I'll keep it up but if I get too depressed with the scales I may have to stop. I loved getting bigger in my first pregnancy because I was small with a cute bump, but this time I will be a beached whale by the end.
Probably true about keeping your sugar levels high - I just couldn't keep anything down for 6 weeks, it was a nightmare, and even after that I had to take anti-sickness meds to let me eat.

OK, now this is interesting. Just been on babycentre.co.uk's pregnancy weight gain estimator and here are the results:
Based on my pre-pregnancy weight of 10st1 and height 5ft3 I am estimated to gain between 1st11 and 2st7 during pregnancy (eeek!)
The weight will be distributed thus:
Me Uterus: 2.4lbs Breasts: 1lb Blood: 3.1lbs Water: 4.2lbs Fat: 8.3lbs (yuk! took me ages to lose that) Subtotal: 1st 4.9lbs
Baby Fetus: 7.5lbs Placenta: 1.6lbs Amniotic Fluid: 2.0lbs Subtotal: 11.1lbs
Total Weight Gain: 2st2lbs
I am so curious to see whether they are right, so now I will have to keep track of my weight.

Hee hee.
Yeah, I've been snacking lots and am eating more fruit, which is what I craved last time I was pregnant. Making the most of it before the sickness kicks in since I have had moments of nausea already (but that could be because I am tired and I do get that with fibromyalgia anyway, so you never know).
