Hi all, remember me ;D? Can't beleive its been so long since I've been on here, but things have been a bit of a nightmare since we got back from spain (which was absolutely fab)!!!!! Long story short - as of beginning of December the wonderfully caring NHS are terminating my contract on the grounds of ill health, ah the caring profession . As you can imagine bit stressed out, finding money to pay mortgage etc. Also chemist made a cock up of ordering my meds - nearly a week without them is really not good . Anyway, hope you are all ok, you are never far from my thoughts, love and hugs x.

Great to hear from you again! So sorry about your job hun! Have you had any thoughts on what you might do now! You would think the NHS would be more unerstanding!

Hi WG and Hopeful,
bloody disgrace isn't it?
Have spoken to union - not really much can be done, too big an organisation to fight!!!!
Next time you read in the papers how short staffed the NHS are, think about me, experienced senior nurse that they're unable/unwilling to help!
Hope you are both well, love and hugs x

Glad you enjoyed Spain, did you keep well out there?
Sorry to hear about your job, it all seems so unfair.
Take care love Jay xx

Perhaps you should be going to the papers hun to tell them how you were dismissed from the NHS unfairly on health grounds! Appauling.
How has today been for you?

Hi hun,
not been too bad a day considering!
I have thought about going to papers etc, but would then find it very difficult to get a job anywhere within my NHS trust.
Need to get my anger and frustration out though, so have decided to write to MP Stuart Hosie who was in the papers saying too many people on benefits, too lazy to work etc with "apparent mental health prblems".
I love my work, I love being a nurse, and I'm damned good at it, its so frustrating.

Hi Helen I just read your last post and a part of it stood out I love my work, I love being a nurse, and I'm damned good at it. I just thought it was brilliant to read that, and it sounded so positive. You will nurse again and you will still be damn good at it. It is there loss, and it will be someone else's gain. But I also thought that when PNI was at its worse for you, you would not have felt like this, or of been able to say these things about yourself. So seeing that you have written this makes me smile You tell that MP what you think! How are you actually doing these days? Love Jay xx

Oh hun, you don't know whay you're post meant to me - made me cry, but in a good way I have just printed it off and have stuck it to the inside of my wardrobe, that way I can see it everyday as a reminder of how far I've come Thank you, thank you Other than the work stuff, I've actually been ok ( as long as I take my meds : Have been reading your diary, hows things with in laws? Although been away, none of you have been very far from my thoughts. love and hugs x

Can't seem to find much time to be on here regularly at mo, feeling really bad about it as want to give more support than I am. On a different note, can finally say wholeheartedly that I am recovered ;D
