OOOh Sarah how exciting! Right am gonna email you all the details I have on trying to conceive a girl now. The best method is supposed to be the time at which you conceive. I will have to dig it out but I think the idea is that the female sperm live longer than male sperm and so the idea is to conceive up to 4 days after ovulation. I will check it out as I forget now!
And if you need some practice having a girl about just shout - I can soon send my LO up to stop with Auntie Sarah! LOL x
Have a lovely evening tonight hun! I am sat here on my own as Hubby is in bed ill, but at least it means i get some peace at last!
Catch up soon xx

OH MY GOD!!! I think I'm going to die!!!!!!
Coil out yest afternoon and I'm in agony! I had been having bother with it anyway, it was starting to feel a bit like stabbing. I mentioned this to my doc b4 he took it out, he said, hmm its maybe moved a bit. Then he came back to remove it and looked at bit worried, it was his face, oh, sarah love, its rather far up. Meaning it had moved up too far and he could only just see the threads thro my cervix. He had a bit of bother getting hold of it to pull it out. My tummy is swollen and I've got really bad cramps, I could almost have passed out yesterday I was that sore. My friend took me home to hers coz I was really pale and I stayed until Michael walked down to meet me.
I'm nearing the stage of wishing I never got it out. Its like labour pains!
Other than that all is fine. Boys not playing up too much. Been a hectic few days to be honest and my house is a tip. I went to bed at 7.30 last night coz I was dying, final words to Michael, bath steven, wash up the dishes and hve a quick tidy up in here, ie the sitting room. I got up this am to find a bomb site, I could have cried! What a mess!!!
So I'm about to attempt to tidy without bending up and down too much. I've put stuart up for a nap and i'm going to tidy up and hang mu washing. I've got 2moro am to tidy properly, thur is my housework day, so if I do some today I wont be too sore either day. Well thats my plan but its a good drying day so I'll have 4 or 5 loads of ironing by 2nite and by 2moro I'll have about 10 loads!
Cheers WG I'll go read m emails. I've not checked in a few days. Any ideas what I do with regard to trying now the coil is out. I'll have to read up when I ovulate etc coz I'm a real twit when it comes to that, both mine were accidents! But what I mean is do I try after my 1st period or do I have to wait longer? What about old eggs and stuff I'm sure I remember something about that. Have to have a peek into that one.
Cheers buys, ure so much support. I've not actually decided if I'm even going to tell anyone I've got the coil out, even mum. I dont want anyone to know I'm trying, but I should maybe say to ppl I got it out coz it was hurting, I mean it was, but it was a bit of a case of both really. What u think?

Hi Mate! Missed you while the site was down!! Have been struggling with your email address, every time I try to send anything it just bounces back to me! Grrr. I hate technology. Anyway check out www.fertilityfriend.com for every tip in the world on conception. Honestly it sorted me out and I am not supposed to be able to have children! I am sorry about all the pain you have had from having the coil removed! There was me considering having one put in, but all this talk of pain, cervix, strings etc.. has put me right off! How are you feeling tonight? You had chance to have much of a rest?? WG x

I went home from mums without the keyboard! Idiot or what!!
But thats me plugged in an got a minture to get on and organised. I did see it wasnt working, what was wrong with it. something about a fire it said. Too much info for me, I'm just glad its working again.
Well they keyboard incident wasn't me. Steven had been on his dads knee while at the comp. I have one of those plug in scented things just beside it. But they are a fire hazzard so only have it in when I'm right nxt to it. i left it on the comp table but obviouly it had been touched and put back upside down. All the oil run out, into the keyboard. i took it apart and cleaned it but some keys still didnt work. Its not in the toy box, stuart loves it. It also smells rather nice too!
Re the baby making, lol. Well I've been following that fertiltiy thing as much as i can but i'm so busy I'm behind with the lessons, you know u get one a day, well I'm about 6 behind! But I've started taking my temp as it says I have to. Buts whats with this bit about creamy, watery, or whatever. How am i suposed to know that! It also says something about checking your cervix, really? I mean do I have to? How on earth would I know how its different? Its all really rather complicated. WG I need a tutorial!!!! (did u get my email to work?, i've not got any from you)
also started a childminding course. Its free course run by the scma, and its really rather good. Its also a nice break for an evening away from the kids, 2x a wk for the nxt 3 wks. I enjoy it. I think i might actually do this childminding, I'd only take maybe 2 more, but its a nice little something extra and steven loves the company.

Hi Sarah
Haven't had the email, try my home one... helen999@ntlworld.com.
I will dig out the cervix info and get it off to you.
Great news on the childminding course! Sounds like a good plan for the future - and a very brave one! I can barely manage one child!
Glad to have you back up and running babes!

Not pleasant though! My GP tried to get me to touch my cervix to see if it was hard or soft! I drew the line there....

Right had a look then. The pic are disgusting, just imagine somone taking a pic of that!
I understand this whole mucus thing then. But now i'm getting confused. To try for a girl you need to do it 2-4 days b4 ovulation. So do I go for it when its still watery and clear rather than the total egg white stage, as surefly that would be just b4 ovulation and I'm needing a bit b4 that?

TMI alert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not read if eating your dinner. Sarah hun, when you check your cervix, if you are fertile, it's soft, mushy and high up (sometimes so soft it sinks into the vagina wall and can't be detected), and when period is due it's small round, hard and low down (like a large lump really), almost near the entrance... Go on get your finger up there girly, I can hear the pitter patter of tiny feet already..and those little frilly dresses are so cute as well. ;D Awww what a cutie pie Lovely evening xxxx

God its making me feel ill too now... LOL x Yeah Sarah, you got it right about the mucus thing. If you are taking your BBT too after about 2 months of your periods follow a pattern you will also be able to work out the date you ovulate that way too. ALWAYS 14 days before your period. People who have longer periods just ovulate later but will always have a period 14 days after they ovulate. If your temp dips at day 14, period is coming, if it is still climbing high... go get a pregnancy test!
Quite funny all this, because we all know what you will be doing tonight! LOL x
