Hi everyone, well i'm not sure whats going on with me but i've managed to PUT ON 3lbs this week? ? i am going to see my dr though as i have been trying really hard, have cut down on my sugar intake and been out walking everday with nathan, not snacking etc etc so my mum suggested i go and get tested for any thyroid problems as she has this and she only found out when she started dieting and was putting on weight instead of losing it. Its so frustrating cos i am really trying. Since i started 9 weeks ago i now weigh more than when i started!!!! i have the dr's tomorrow so will let you know how it goes, if its not that then i don't know what i'm doing wrong as the only week i managed to lose weight was when i was out 2 nights in a row getting absolutely plastered?! (maybe this could the new diet! hahaha) Anyway well done to everyone and keep going! Loadsa Love Sarah.xxx

Hi Guys
Well this is my first week weighing in and i have lost only 1lb which i guess is better than nothing as i haven't actually been that active last week so that is my goal this week to try and did a bit of excersise althought i don't know when i will find the time but i'll manage.
Take Care

Hi girls, LOL@yoyo, yes its a good one eh? hahaha. Well i had a blood test today so i should get the results on weds/thurs. The GP seems to think that because i'm walking alot that my fat is turning to muscle and because muscle weighs more this is the reason for the weight gain!! My calfs are definately alot more toned and my thighs are getting there and its something i never thought about so hopefully this could be the answer!. Yes i am on meds but i have been on them since sept last year and have only just started putting the weight on recently, also have been on these meds before and they didn't have this effect so i'm thinking maybe its not that. Maybe i need to do some other form of excercise aswell as the walking? Loadsa Love Sarah.xx

Hi Girls
I've lost a bit as I said earlier in the thread - and feel better even for losing just a few pounds..but because I like my food - I'm also going to aim to walk at least one way to the school each day - which will mean brisk 1/2 hr walk, or an hour if both ways. See what difference this makes?
Hxx

You star!! It's bizzarre isn't it - sometimes 'cheating' helps it seems!! that's my new theory anyway - think I'm going to be good in the week and eat as I feel - not pig out though - at weekends x

Well - 1 lb this week - not too gutted. Think it's mainly down to poor eating habits though!

Ok girlies - not trying to spook you but it's only 19 days till the end of the official sponsored slim - feel free to continue a bit longer if you want to. Well done to everyone so far, even if you've not lost much or even if you've put weight on - it's the taking part and trying which is great, to even attempt anything whilst still ill with PNI etc is a milestone in itself. Hope to see much less of you all in the next 19 days Keep us posted x
