Hi Scarlet
Yep off today. Had a friend comng round this afternoon but her LO is poorly so she is unable to make it so just sat here wondering what to do with LO when she wakes from her nap for the afternoon! Dont fancy the park as it is freezing out there and the library is shut on wednesdays so bit stuck - looks like the crayons may be coming ourt! LOL
Hows things with you babes?

I'm OK hun, had a wee blip these past few days due to the dreaded PMT...... catches up with me every time, just when I start to become cocky again, isn't it always the way . Otherwise I'm fine, have just taken the kids out for lunch to the local deli and am just gonna put Jeremy on the TV whilst my eldest has some computer time. Sorry about your friend cancelling, it's good to have some company now and again isn't it. Know what you mean about the blooming weather, it's so cold, deffo not park weather. Think I may wrap some pressies up later. Have you got those decorations out yet? maybe it's a good idea to get your little one to make a few snowflakes or similar with her crayons, you could always draw the outline and get her to do a bit of scribbling in between. Hmmmm what to do on days like this... Scarlet X

Hi Scarlet
Like the snowflake idea! Gonna give that a go! Thanks x
I am putting the tree up next weeks as I finish at work on friday for xmas and will have some more time then.
Have you managed to get any of your prezzies wrapped, i was gonna do it tonight but have a meeting with my LO's nursery (long story 0 bad ofsted report, very upsetting - think we will be pulling her out). Anyway, hope you have had a nice afternoon x

Didn't wrap, cut the kids hair instead ;D...now am watching CBeebies and debating whether to cook fish fingers and chips, or to bung a pizza in the oven...decisions decisions . Did you get to make your snowflakes?. I found that after they'd scribbled on a bit of paper, I cut it out into a snowflake shape and stuck it on the wall with other little Xmas things they made.....Awwww bless makes em happy!! Hugs Scarlet X

hi i would like to ask any of you ladies out there if any of you have taken fluoxetine for years rather than months as i have been on and off this drug for over 6 years and my doctor wants to put me back on it as my symptoms have slightly returned and i think this is due to the fact that i have never really had any help when i first had pnd over 5 years ago but i am doing something about that now and hopeing to get some help from my doctor and be refered to psychiatry to i can talk this through something i have never done properly in all these years,my main worry i suppose is being on this drug for a long time as i have read some frightening things on the internet about this medication and its preventing me from taking it as i have been on and off it for a long time anyone out there got any experience of being on this drug for a long time i would love to hear from you as im worring like mad about taking it.Thanks Caroline.

Havent updated this thread in AGES so for all those interested in Cipralex/Escitalopram i just thought i would have a wee update.
I am doing really well - still have my bad days with teh anxiety on and off but am a far cry from where i was before! I get out and about, take my LO swimming, socialise with friends etc.. all stuff i couldnt do before the meds.
Everyone is different, and different meds suit different people - but i am glad i found one for me - it really had been a life saver for me.
