Thanks Susanne,
I Think it was partly OCD that I obsessed on things I had no control over. The anti d's i am on were to help with the anxiety and the checking things as well as depression and to some extent they have and a short course of Cognitive behavioural therapy.
One of the things they suggested was to do things that scared you any way. Easier said than done. But in small steps it works,
A-M

Yeah, well done though hunni, really. A small step will soon turn into a big one, and if you've done it once, you should be able to do it again. If it scared you, and you did it, it really is an achievement. I'm scared of the wind (something thats been there since I was a baby) and even now I couldn't confront it.
Woo, look, my 100th post! ;D

Hiya hopeful, Thanks for thinking of me hun. I'm ok, I'm still bleeding heavily, but I think it's to be expected. I certainly don't feel as ill as I did this morning. How are you hun?

Well, it's 2am. I've just had my tea, yes I know it's 2am but Alan didn't finish work until midnight and I like to wait for him so we can at least eat together!, and got GJ down, and now I'm knackered! But I think I've got to the point where I am too tired if you know what I mean?
I went to my first unit meeting tonight, it was a lot of fun, and meeting other party organisers was fun. I've decided to do those wedding fayres which are in Jan n Feb next year, but they should be fun. Ones actually the day before my birthday!
I really don't feel like I've done anything constructive today at all, but I have because I can see my living room floor again! lol so I must have done something. I can't believe it's only monday (ok, so technically tuesday but lets not get fussy), it feels like a thursday or maybe that's just wishful thinking? Hmmmmm not sure!
Ok, I feel like I'm blabbering now, so I'm going to go before I stop making sense to everybody! lol

YAY! After all I've said about my mother in law, she's not that bad really, she's got me a party booking! WooHoo! So once again, I am jumping up and down in my seat! lol (I don't want to tempt fate, soooo shhhhhh, but it looks like it might finally be picking up enough for me to make a real go of this.)
I am so excited, you just wouldn't believe! haha I feel like a child at Xmas I really do! YAY, I hope your days are going as well as mine seems to be.

Well, i've had quite a good day. I've spent the afternoon with Thea, and GJ has slept through most of it, it's been nice to spend time with Thea, and Thea alone. We are going to see my mum tomorrow, that will be nice, I think we might take Thea to wacky warehouse again, she really enjoyed that....will have to wait and see what happens and what time we manage to get to my mums.
I hope your all well, and having a nice day too.

Thanks Hopeful, is that a polite way of saying I talk too much!? lol We have several WW's here in Liverpool, but we like the one near Aintree race course, especially during the day when the kids are at school so Thea can play without the bigger kids been there.

Hahahaha I'm glad I can help. I think we need to help each other through PNI, it can be a very lonely time. I love this site for that exact reason!
I can't believe how much I've been able to let go of Thea since GJ came along. I am still protective (obviously) but not to the extreme that I was before. Thea is a very bright girl, but I still tried to wrap her up in cotton wool, now I feel I've been able to let go and see her for the child she is, rather than the baby I wanted her to be forever! I just hope when the time comes, I can allow GJ to be just as independant! Although she's quite a mummys girl! Which I secretly quite like! Has anyone else found this with 2nd+ babies?
