Thanks Naomi and Sian xx
Today been another ok one.
Worried about little man's reflux, started choking abit today, think it must be with weaning. Got appointment with the consultant tomorrow so will mention it then, no doubt will just get told 'he'll grow out if it'
Took high chair back - apparently the second one they've had this week!
Spent a little time this afternoon with my brother and his family which was lovely, played cricket in the garden with his 2 boys. P did the cleaning while I was out - bless x

Hey KL
Glad to hear you had a good one yesterday - congrats to P and a gold star for doing the cleaning, can he come and do my bathroom?! What did the consultant reckon about the reflux?
Love N xx

Hi Nay P says as long as he gets a bed and some tea he'll do the bathroom!!! Good day today, lunch at friends and then the hospital. Consultant pleased with little man, says he may have reduced his milk intake because he knows it makes him poorly? How intelligent! Happy with weight and ability etc so to continue with weaning and go back in 4 weeks. Advised that if things get worse with weaning before just ring the secretary and make an earlier appointment. While he was being examined he was screeching with delight, the consultant was highly amused and say's it's good he's vocal (not so sure about that at 3.30am this morning when he spent 30 minutes wittering to himself, shouting and singing) Baby rice went down well again this morning, best friend was really suprised that he doesn't make any mess, it goes down too well to part with any! Going to try some at tea time tomorrow and do that for a few days and then start to add some vegetables - ice trays and blender at the ready! Read the little man his bedtime story tonight and he was nearly asleep but smiling - it makes everything worthwhile x

hehehe! unfortunately I have to do it this week, as we've got friends staying for the weekend otherwise I'd take P up on his offer So glad you've had a positive day today, it makes the whole thing worthwhile when you see your little one fall asleep with a smile on their face eh? Hope you enjoy weaning - I really enjoyed it with Anya. She loved pear and apple to start with, and then avocado was a big hit later on. Green veg like broccoli didn't go down too well but now she eats everything - we'll be blending tonight's smoked salmon and prawn risotto for her! Hugs, N xx

Hey KL
Hope the weaning is still going well. I'm half awake so won't take up too much space. Just wanted to say hello and check on you and the little man

Had a good few days, spent some time with my auntie and done some more puree's. Ordered a pushchair and highchair today and been and bought a humidifier for the bedroom becuase we all seem to have a cough!?!? Can't really remember doing anything interesting? P been to shop and come back with a box of Guylian chocolates for me - that's the dieting put off until I've eaten them (such a shame) Think I'm meeting friend for lunch tomorrow. Going to e mail friend from work back - leaving do next Friday, still unsure if I'm going to go?

Thanks Tamm and thanks Nay.
A little unsure about the going out thing after what happened last time with P being really funny about it - don't know if it's worth it. Another good day. Went for lunch with friend and then took mum shopping because dad was travelling home. Looking forward to tomorrow because it's a new taste day! Not sure what we're doing this weekend. P working in morning and we're taking my mum and dad out for lunch on Sunday. Suppose we'll have to visit his mother at some point - that's another story, it'd take me days to write it all up!!!!!!!
Hope everyone else is doing ok

I'm going to say it again GO OUT GO OUT GO OUT GO OUT!!! ;D P will get used to it and it'll do you the world of good. The more you stay in, the more he'll come to expect that. It's good to get away from the house and being mummy and have a nice time with your friends. Have fun at your mother in law's

Another good one (getting worried in case something nasty is loitering around the corner)
Let P have a lie in and then I went supermarket shopping - on my own!
Went out for lunch with my mum and dad but the food was rubbish so a bit disappointing.
Spent the afternoon with my brother and family and then came back and did some cooking for little mister - courgette and swede purees, yum, yum!?!?!?
Spending tomorrow with my friend so looking forward to that.

Hey KL
Lovely to hear you sounding so upbeat and still having good days - I know what you mean about worrying what's round the corner... I'm now on week 3 of feeling back to my normal self so am wondering if/when the next blip will be. Who knows, maybe the pill back to back is sorting me out?
You sound like a blender-goddess!! - lucky little man getting all those lovely tastes! Have you noticed any difference in his reflux since starting solids?
Sorry to have missed you this weekend, Nay xx

Hi Nay Reflux was quite settled before weaning and he did have some chokling episodes for first few days but seems ok at the minute - probably why I'm ok!
Isn't it horrible that we can't just enjoy the good days without wondering what might be around the corner?
Today was a good day - again!xx Friend and her little bot came for lunch and then we had a walk to the park - little man went opn the slide, swing and roundabout (with a little help from mummy) Lunch and tea went down well again - carrot and baby rice, yum yum. Trying fruit puree tomorrow- pear I think!
Tomorrow is looking very similar to today x

Another good one!
Friend came for lunch then out for a walk. Little man had pear today -not sure he tastes it because he wolfs it down so quick! Think he must just be sick of milk because he refuses it but eats everything else no problem.
Going to get him weighed tomorrow, first time since starting weaning, quite excited but just hope he's gained.
Works do on Friday os now straight after work so won't be able to go because P not home til after 6 and I'd have to be there about 5. Bit miffed about it really, was kind of looking foward to it.
Not much planned for tomorrow, might go get some bits to take to Centreparks - very excited about that.
