Have felt terrible. Feel sick all the time in my stomach. Find myself staring into space and ignoring hubby when he talks. Don't know if I feel anything am kind of numb. Can't talk about it feels too difficult to put into words. House is such a mess.Baby is great though. He is the only thing that keeps me going. Why am I so unhappy? There doesn't seem to be a reason. My body's aching with fatigue but I can't sleep. Wish I didn't feel so sick.

Today was a good day. Am trying really hard not to nag hubby about going to the pub for 4hours a day. didn't think this was who I was marrying 3 years ago. Guess I have to accept he does not have the same social aspirations as me. I resent how much money he is spending in the pub cos we could be saving up for a better house, I worked out he spends £1500 a year in the pub as a conservative estimate. At least he loves me and the baby and does not hit me or anything. A better day mentally for me. Was bad last night though. Hubby got drunk and left a pizza in the oven and fell asleep. Smoke alarm didnt go off, dunno why. I woke up at 4am by the smell of burning pizza in the oven, house still smells a bit smoky today. Baby getting baptised at the weekend, need to get him an outfit.

Hey Sunflower
If the drinking bothers you then bring it up with OH. The 4 hours he is there is 4 hours that you are on your own with the little one and that can be the hardest thing to cope with when you have PNI.
Good luck with the baptism

Went looking for baptism outfit for Baby today, not much in the shops. Will try the expensive kiddies clothes shop tomorrow. Baptism and catering all organised, is annoying how lots of the relatives on my dad's side have not even bothered to reply to my invites to let me know for numbers for the soup and sandwiches after the ceremony. Hubby out fishing, didn't say when he'd be back. Baby just stopped crying, he's been getting a bit unsettled and difficult to settle down at night recently. Hubby and I are both quite tense, we are putting an offer in on a house tomorrow won't find out till after 12pm if we've got it or not. Can't get rid of the metallic taste on my tongue. Sun was shining today, makes everything feel better.

Well, we got a verbal offer of acceptance on the house we want so now we are moving at the end of September. Wow. Baby doing really well. He was a wee star at the baptism. He looked absolutely adorable in his christening outfit and didn't cry at all even when he was getting passed around all the relatives. Was a lovely warm day and the sun was shining. Hubby on holiday this week so we were looking at nurseries in the area that we are moving too. Full time places cost £580 a month. Expensive!

Glad the weekend went well for you all
Full time childcare is extortionate isn't it?

Hi sunflower!
I pay £515.00 a month for just 4 days a week! No wonder we cannot afford to move!
Hope the house move goes well x

That was the cheaper nursery. The more expensive Montessori nursery was £635 a month all payable in advance of course!! I wish we could afford for me to give up work, but we can't get a mortgage without a full time wage from me. Got my birthday present today from hubby. Not allowed to open it till next week mind you till its my birthday! Bought a whole load of flat pack boxes from Ikea for moving house with. Daunting task. Am looking forward to having a girly day with my mum and sister for my birthday next week. Hubby will be working and so will be nice to go shopping all together as we all live so far apart. Going back to work in two weeks, countdown has started in my head. Got to be done. I need to prepare my self mentally for how physically and mentally shattered I will be. Hopefull it will only take a few weeks for my body to adjust.had really weird vivid dreams recently about David Tennant from Dr Who and ghosts chasing me around a haunted house with no exits! Psychologist would have a field day I'm sure!

Feel really exhausted today. Can't seem to stay awake. Went for a reflexology and reiki session, usually feel better but still have terrific headache afterwards.managed an hour's sleep while the wee one had a rest this afternoon and OH was in the pub. But had to get up when Baby woke up. Think I'll have an early night tonight.

No more creepy David Tennant dreams, maybe its cos he was in the same class as my sister in law at school and that who do you think you are was repeated last week. Been a busy week. Looking for a car for hubby, missives on the new house are closing, sister and brother in law went back to spain, going back to work at the end of the month. Its all go. Still feel tired and my headache and sore neck doesn't seem to be going away. baby is so brilliant and smiley and loveable.

Ho Hum, got a dry run with the childminder next week. Haven't had a whole day away from baby since he was born! Have to brace myself. Then going back to work full time from 23rd Aug. Scary prospect.

Hi Sunflower
Work isn't as bad as you fear it will be I'm sure. Mine go to a creache for 2 days a week and they love it. My Godson, who is now almost 5, still insists on calling his childminder to say hello even though he's been in school since last September. She has to come to his birthday parties and everything x
