Hi Anita, I'd definitely talk to the doctor about it if the dizziness doesn't subside. I felt pretty spaced in the days until I started taking mine in the evening and the doctor advised me to do that. But don't change anything please until you've spoken to your doctor! She seemed pretty on the ball with stuff like that from what you wrote so don't feel bad making another appointment to go and see her. It was like a cloud lifting for me once they kicked in at night time rather than the middle of the morning. How has today been for you? Love, Bobyn x

Hey Anita
I am going thr therapy at the moment and find it immensly helpful just making sense of what I am going to thr and questioning why etc. It is very emotional draining and I started it when I started to feel abit better and stronger.
I am also going to a support group which is good and a huge relief to meet other mums going thr the same thing and not thinking I am totally abnormal!
See what you feel comfortable with..

Hi Anita,
I should mention it to your doc. When I was on ADs and I mentioned about some symptoms I was getting he changed my two tablets so I took one in the morning and one in the evening, but speak to your doc about this first.
Hope you are feeling a bit better today hun.
Love and hugs

Hi Anita, Not worried , but I think the ADs can be 'tweaked' to perhaps one in a morning and one at night ~ mine were, so it's worth a mention, maybe then the dizziness will subside. Glad you are not feeling so anxious, sounds like they are doing their job. Hows your little girls excema meant to ask? Did you try soya milk hun? Scarlet X

Hi Anita, I know what you mean about feeling hot. Somedays I'll be walking round the house in a t-shirt with the heating off and still feeling hot and then my OH will come home and say how cold it is and put a jumper on the LO who has probably been freezing all day! If I get a bit anxious in any situation I seem to get really hot now too which is horrible. It did calm down a bit from when I started the tablets but I still feel hotter than everyone else most days. Let us know how you get on with the doctor. How old is your LO now? My is nearly 5 months and has an intolerence to milk which we control by taking dairy out of her diet - and mine as I'm breast feeding. She has been prescribed pepti-junior formula (only available on prescription) rather than soya milk as the doctors now are reluctant to prescribe soya milk to infants due to research into hormonal effects or something like that, plus lots of the proteins are the same in soya and cows milk my consultant said. Pepti Junior has the milk proteins broken down to make them less irritant to the infant.
Love, Bobyn (the cheese and chocolate craver!) xxx

Hi Anita,
I was very hot on my ADs as well, and when I was anxious, it's like I was having a hot flush.
Sorry to hear about the excema, but like Bobyn said, maybe they won't suggest soya. When is your ped appt hun?, and how are you feeling today?

Hi
I took my meds in the night as well. To be completely honest, the GP did tell me one morning, one evening but I changed it to both at night as it was kicking in about 10am and spacing me out too much. I told the GP after I did it (she okayed it afterwards)

Have you tried the netmums website? It's not too great for meeting mums in my area as it's not widespread enough there yet but the feedback from other parts of the country are good. You can find out about groups/activities etc in your area that you may want to go to and you can contact other mums if you want to as well.

Where abouts have you moved to Anita? And where were you based before? I met some Mums through swimming lessons in the area and a baby club organised by the HVs as I didn't know anyone when I moved here. Do they have things like that near you? Ideally within walking distance to be able to meet other local Mums. x

I moved from Barnet to Hatfield so a totally different area. The health visitor hasn't got in contact yet and the doctor hasn't sorted out the councilling therefore i see no-one at the moment. Would love to go to swimming classes but am afraid to go out besides I don't know anyone : (. So you see i am a little stuck at the moment.
