Just popping by. Starting a walking group for mums with mental health issues. Should be fun. Keep getting asked if I’m well now or if I’m over it ... not sure how to answer as I do feel well in the moment but always aware of being vulnerable in a way I never was previously. How do you decide when you’re “well”? Lots of issues ongoing in life and needing more sleep than I’m getting but otherwise ok. Would quite appreciate a weekly counselling session to deal with issues as they arise. I feel like I don’t have time/energy to be reflective so I keep going but have a back up of processing to do. Maybe I’m talking gibberish because I’m too tired haha!
Love to everyone x

Hi Brach
Wonderful to hear from you as always!
You know, to me you sound well. Yes tired , with problems (like everyone!) but you coping and getting things done and I'm guessing not hitting the lows you were. I felt just like you do immediately post recovery . Everytime of feel rubbish I'd worry it's Pni coming back. It's been such a traumatic time that you worry about it.
Life for most people has challenges - mine feel non stop - I think the way we all react is a very good guide to how we are with regards to Pni. Also don't underestimate exhaustion - it can really make you feel rubbish Pni or not! You're a mum of 3 and work not to mention all the other stuff!
What a wonderful idea re walking group! Therapeutic and supportive at the same time! X

Thanks monica. Yes hoping group will be good. Struggling to think about it as it makes me reflect on my own stuff which gets me down. Feel sad that I can’t yet look at photos of second child as a baby without getting sad. Still unable to focus.

Hi
It's been a painful journey and you have been robbed of happy and previous memories due to this cruel illness so feeling the way you do is normal. However, in time it will get less painful - it did for me.
You've got wonderful kids and that's down to you doing such a great job in spite of everything - try to focus on that.
Good luck with the group - let us know how you get on x
