you can get little toothbrushes that fit over your fingers they are made from soft rubber and have rubber bristle and its so soft on their gums you can use it to massage thier gums too especially whilst teething..i got mine from a mail order leaflet that is you find on the inside of the bikipegs box but i think boots do it too.
as for going balistic i threten to put my kids in the wheelie bin and put them out for the dustmen.. ;D the only thing is thought they like the idea

With the kids thing. Before I was diagnosed with PNI I was absolutely horrible. A shouter, a smacker, timeout, anything - just wanted to get away from them or them from me. Poor Jay - hes really quite well behaved for a just turned 5 year old. What I do now is tell him calmly I'll count to 5 and if he doesnt stop I'll get really angry - I'm obviously really scary as he always stops so I dont have to yell and scream anymore. Quite sad really

I should just let you know that I did have PNI when I was so horrible - just hadnt been diagnosed yet. Always blamed the kids (or Glen, or the dog or anyone) for my moods and then realised it was me and they were just being normal kids

Fran,
I've got a maclaren Techno Classic. It has pull up handles for tall people. I've never needed to pull them up though as I find it quite comfy as it is. It's a nice pushchair with raincover, cosytoes, etc & easy to use. The only down side is that it is quite long when closed & just squeezes in my boot. probably ok for you tho, hun.
Love Lisa xxx

HELP my three year old son has been toilet trained by day since he was 22 months old and it suprised me that he was so ready and it took less than a day with only one miss....... however im finding it difficult to get him dry by night and he still wears pull ups. Ive tried to reducing his drinks as the day goes on and last one is at 6pm. He is a light sleeper and if you wake him at night he will get very grumpy kick scream and then be awake for the rest of the night. He also expells so much energy in the day that comes 4pm he starts to get sleepy and if i can get him to eat a meal and have his last drink i think im doing well by 5.30pm.He never seems to be awake much after 5.30pm. He will not nap in the afternoon either after nursey. I juust dont know what to do and every morning his pull up is sopping wet. Any advice please is it a boy thing as my daughter was much easier even if we did have wet beds for quite some time at least she tried to make the toilet in time.TEXTTEXT

Think its a boy thing toby 7 has only been out of pull ups 6 months, george 4 is still in them. I have just gone with this to be honest. The smell in there room is awful if I get rid of the trainer pants and so much washing. No life is easier if I just accept they are not ready to be dry at night yet.

Hi wendy
Claire was dry for ages during the day before she was ready to go all night, I just left her too it as I think you arent really supposed to lift them as they reckon that all you are doing unless they are really awake is teaching them to go while they are still sleepy, therefore they will still go when sleeping. It sounds like you are doing everything you can, I think you will just have to go with the flow ( no pun intended!) and as Anna said save on the washing, no point in pushing it, I remember Claire just started having dry nappies all of a sudden and he is still quite young ( was tempted to say wee but better not ;D)
hope this helps
