Hi Anita
Thats my LO too, wont do ANYTHING on her own, has to all be with Mummy, and you are right, it is EXHAUSTING. I think they grow out of it as they get more independance though (I hope - lol x)
How has this afternoon been?

Not bad thanks hun, just fighting the anxiety still!
Glad you had a nice day and your LO was well behaved! Its funny coz I think alot of kids can be a nightmare at home and then good as gold when they are out, not sure why this is, but have certainly found it with my LO!
Hope you are enjoying your evening?

I think children are much better when they're out too. My Aunt called me last night and was saying that she remember the same thing from her two. She said that sometimes her parents would turn up and think the house had been burgled as she'd reached the end of her tether and just left the place and gone to a friend's for coffee, or to the park. Toys etc just got abandoned as she didn't have the time or patience to try to tidy up before she left! If we all lived closer I'm certain our houses would be abandoned in the same way when we were having a bad day and needed that coffee break with another soul to get through the afternoon.

Well what can i say....2nd week back at work and i am feeling fantastic....think i am finally beating the PNI at last!! Everyone has noticed a difference...even the nursery said to me that i have changed into such a happy and cheerful person (and they dont even know that i have pni so i must have changed). I feel better towards my little girl now too and really enjoying time with her and now i know she has a food allergy has really put my mind at rest...ie i wasn't going mad!! her skin has really started to clear and she is such a happier little girl....wish those docs believed me 7 months ago and maybe things would have been different.
What i can truly say is to people who are worried about returning to work is go for it if you are feeling up to it. It has really helped me focas my life....don't feel guilty about leaving your little one at nursery....i did at first but everytime i pick her up from nursery I walk in and she is really enjoying herself....and there is nothing more special than when she sees me she gets really excited and wants a cuddle. Being able to talk to other people has stopped me from feeling so lonely and isolated too and it makes sure that i don't fall into that trap of not going out as i have to!!
You guys are wonderful...Don't think i would have been as far as i am if it wasn't for all of you giving me that surport and encouragement so thankyou so much it means the world to me
