Hi all,
Had a nice day yesterday, went to take little boy to nursery and realised Hubby had taken bubbas car sest to work with him in his car! so couldn't go anywhere, luckily sis came and looked after Bubba while I took him and Mum helped when I picked him up later on. Stayed in all day and caught up on my Neighbours, love it! half an hour of escapism! was quite nice to spend the day indoors for a change with bubba.
I know you are right Girls, I need to stay on the meds longer, dizziness has been on and off really, period getting closer, so I am doing much better than last month when I had it solidly the wekk prior and during, Jo you are so right, it feels much easier to deal with now I can sort of know when and why its coming.
Going to see sister in law today, prob gonna go out for a walk as the weather looks nice so far, going out on friday night with friends and debating whether to drink alcohol or not, it says on the box not to (fluoxetine) but everyone has said to me they always have and been fine, what do you all think?
Hope everyone has good weather today.

Hearing you are doing so well is such great news look how far you have come in two months. on the drinking thing, I have had a glass or two no problems but would not get pissed on the drugs

Hi all,
Well, had my night out which I enjoyed, had a couple of drinks and was fine so thanks for the advice Kat, did feel a little lethargic the next day but I think this is just general after efffects of alcohol, prozac or not. Had period this week and dizziness was quite minimal, however yesterday evening and today have been feeling rather dizzy and the period has just finished!? this is a different pattern to the last two months, did you ever find the pattern altered Jo? My period was two days early the first few months now this month was two dasy late and the dizziness occured after it not before and during? I am feeling anxious in case the dizziness doesn't go as I always do when it returns, my OH is encouraging me to be rational and look back at how it has returned and dissapeared in recent months but I still really worry.
OH is out tonight watching the football so I am home alone, which is okay, OH away again on Monday but sis is staying so not too anxious about this.
Had a large argument with Mum in the week so I think this has thrown me off a little maybe.
Looking forward to the weekend and trying to relax as much as possible.

Hi Bubble
Its a bit like a vicious circle.. You feel dizzy, so become worried about it, So become more dizzy, so become more anxious.. and so on.
I used to find that the more I tried to analyse my spells of being not dizzy/ dizzy I would work myself up even more. In the end I chose to write off every day that i felt crap and start the new day with no worries or expectations, it did help a bit.
I hope you get that lovely relxing weekend hun, try and make the most of it x
Take Care

Hi Bubble
THink WG is talking some sense. My psychologist said to me that things like this are signs that you either need to rest or deal with something that is worrying you. Dont know if that helps???
How is everything else going? have you had a good weekend? The weather good??
Love

I would have to agree with the girls bubble. I don't know that there was any particular pattern to the dizziness but the more i used to think about it, the worse it seemed to be. I hope you have had a nice weekend x

Hi all,
OH away tonight, thought I was okay even though the dizziness still hasn't gone and I have had some hazy vision again, which really scares me. I finding things quite difficult today, had a few moments of awful panic for no reason, this morning and last night. Feels so awful when Hubby is gone, I can't look forward to seeing him in the evening, and he not home till late tomorrow evening so feels like a very long time at the moment. I just feel quite desperate for the dizziness to ease off again, it makes me feel panicky.
Bubba asleep at the moment, little boy out with Nanny, due back soon, just feel like I would like to go to bed for the day, but know I can't, OH has cooked dinners for us so he has done everything he can but still feel his abscence so much.

Hey sweets
I can understand why you're feeling overwhelmed today...my hubby goes away in a couple of weeks for 3 weeks to im hearing you on this one!! But, just look at how brilliantly you coped the last time he was away....and remember, you may feel panicky and anxious but just know that those feelings CANNOT hurt you..they are just feelings and they will subside.
Remember to take the day in small chunks. If you find yourself looking too far ahead or worrying about tonight, try to distract yourself with something. Play a game with your little boy, sing to the baby, dance round the room like a loon!! Whatever works for you...distraction is the best thing to get you through this times....i will be around tonight if you need some reassurance or just to chat...sending you lots of strength and hugs xx

Hi Bubble
Not surprised you are having a few symptoms its quite normal when the stress level goes up. My tips on being on my own. Do the absolute basics and nothing more, if the kids miss there baths so what - feed them water them play with them and care for them and yourself that is all that matters.
Can you call your OH regularly, when his he back!!! Dont worry about the feelings as Jo says they can not hurt you, acknowledge them, be kind to yourself and dont expect to much

Hi Girls,
Thankyou all so much for your lovely comments, sorry haven't written for a while, been having pretty much constant spinning feelings and haven't done much at all.
Coped okay when OH was away monday night, he is back now, thank goodness, but I did find it really exhausting this time and slept in till 10am this morning! I just hate the dizziness so much its strange because I think wow, I have felt better for longer this month maybe I am well on my way then the dizzy feelings can return full throttle, or I will think okay so I may be dizzy before and during my period, then it all changes and don't have dizziness at this time, but it begins when I finish menstruation? I know I shouldn't try to analyse this so much but I just try to get some kind of order of things in my head, and helps me to cope and think the dizziness will go away again, like it has before. I always worry that it won't.
Sorry I am bit all over the place at the moment, need to try to collect myself over the weekend, can't help but think of Hubby being away again in two weeks for 3 nights! Jo, I feel for you having three weeks without OH, do you get support from friends/family? I know this can make a tremendous difference to me and am blessed to have such good friends and family. I am going to psychic on sat so looking forward to this, I have got my friends Hen night coming up in a week or so, so looking forward to this, got the whole weekend with Hubby and lovely kids coming up. Kat, I find that making lists help me too of all the positives, so thanku for this tip.
Hope u are all doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Hey bubble
Well done for coping when hubby was away...i know how hard it is...I do have great support from parents, in-laws and very good friends but it doesn't seem to take the anxiety away does it!
I have to say that with the dizziness thing, this month this didn't happen until 2 or 3 days after my period had finished?!? Im not sure whether this also has something to do with my hayfever also and haveing a very blocked head?
Sounds as though you have a few lovely things coming up to look forward to, im in the process of arranging my friends hen night at the moment so looking forward to that too! i hope you are enjoying the sunshine xxx

Hi
Well done on managing with oh away - you can do it even if it's a bit diffiult - hope this gives you confidence in your own abilities. Think PNI can really knock that for six and it needs building up again.
Was thinking about what you said re: dizziness and hayfever, blocked sinuses. My big PNI symtpoms were feeling spaced out - much of that was defo soley pni related but I find now that if I have blocked sinuses I get the sensation again. Incidently did you ever have your ears checked out/sinuses for the dizziness?
where are you off to on your friend's hen night. Sounds like a fab break and time to relax. Hope you enjoy your dayx

Hi all,
Thanks for your lovely messages. Jo, How interesting that you experience differing patterns with ur dizziness too, my dizziness has been particually bad again today, went for a long walk with Hubby and Children down the beach, was lovely but has really taken it out of me. The dizziness is quite intense this evening and making me begin to panic, I know I shouldn't but I think because the pattern has been diffferent this month I feel a bit out of control over things.
Just about to eat then gonna go to bed feel so tired this evening, think worrying takes it out of you too.
