Hi
Glad things have been picking up for you. It can be hard with pni - the ups and downs - even simple things can trigger blips, the constant analysis, the thoughts etc. It's all very drianing adn feels as if you mind is on the go with negative stuff 24/7. But in time the bips do get shorter and less intense and you do learn to brush them away. Sounds as if you're doing really well with that and can rationalise about stuff.
Re: sex drive, my libido was hugely effected by meds - I simply had no desire whatsoever. Do reassure your oh it's an effect of the meds though.Men can often take it personally when you're not up for it over an extended period and think you've gone off them when it usually isnt' that at all. On the plus side I was rampant when I came off antids!!! Soemthing to look forward to!

Hi Jemma Lovely to hear from you. Wow, 3 good weeks is great...do you think the build up could be something to do with hormones...is your period due? Just a thought, i can always feel things building up and getting worse the week before my period and it kind of helps to put a label on why i am feeling that way. Hoping it passes quickly for you hun x

Hi Jemma
Was wondering how you are. I read a great book called depression the illness of the strong, it made me almost proud to have the illness. In that book is a graph showing the path of recovery being not a smooth line but one zigzagging up and down. I keep that graph in my head to remind me that the good bits get longer and the bad bits shorter. Be kind to yourself, have a few quiet days and I hope you feel better soon.

Hi Jemma
The bedroom thing, I do that, it's great that you can manage your feelings so well now. It's great you can see a pattern of improvement, however it does not take away the day to day pain this illness inflicts.
Have you got anything nice planned for the weekend?

Hi Jemma
Five, has Ellie just started school, my eldest is five in July. He started school in September and has been full time since July. Sorry to hear things are not still great, i am no expert but I am learning that looking at the thoughts and feelings does help. I find writing very cathartic.
What else have you got planned for the weekend?

Hi
How did party go? 28 kids - you are a saint! hope they all behaved.
I'm sorry the blip is there in the background. Analysing your thoughts and feelings can be a good thing as you have to face your demons and it makes you stronger. It can be a painful process though and quite distressing although good in the long run. Do you feel you are in a place where you could do that?
Love

Hey Jemma, good to hear from you. Your daughter sounds as though she really enjoyed her party! I know what you mean by the mood...some days this happens to me more than the panic attacks but as you say, maybe that is just every day stuff...we probably just feel it more as we are more aware of it if that makes sense? Hoping your mood has picked up a little over the last few days xx
