well last night at about midnight, soph was brought down for some milk. as we were changing her nappy we noticed a rash. we checked it and came to the conclusion it could be meningitis. so trev rushed her up to a&e as quick as he could (As we dont drive, it is lucky that we are only a 20 min walk frm the hospital) he got there and was seen at 1.15am. i was sent straight to bed as we didnt want to wake jamie up in case it was nothing. i had the phone with me, and had just drifted off when trev called to say they were on theor way home. turned out to be an allergic reaction to the meds she was given so she has been taken straight off those as it was giving her the runs too. she is onyl allowed calpol for the now. poor wee girl. she is really in the wars this week.
i had a very insecure morning too. because i wasnt allowed to go qith them to a&e, and because i didnt want my baby girl to have such a serious and horrible illness i didnt want to pass her to her dad and let her leave me. i resnted him a little but i understood why. i ended up having 2 very bad dreams where he left me and we ended getting divorced. i always have those dreams when im seriously insecure. the 2nd one was during my lie in till 9.30am and i refused to go near him as it felt so real and i didnt want him left alone with the kids incase he took tehm away from me in his bid to divorce me.
by lunchtime i was fine though. unfortunately my natural instinct when im feeling really insecure is to hug up to trev and stay there, but as i was too scared and upset with him to near him i was really confused!!!

cheers. she is ok at the moment. well im guessing so she sleot straight through the night (well woke at 11,30 for a 5oz milk feed but went straight off after that till half 7) for the first time in so many weeks and she has just wolfed down 2 1/2 weetabix she has a constant rash under her chin and around the crease of her neck, but we are told that is just a dribble rash. kids, eh?!!
today is world book day so the kids have to go to playgroup dressed as a charactor from a book. we have 3 costumes at hiome -a policeman outfit, a train conductor and a thunderbird. as we cant find the tie for the conductor outfit, jamie is going dressed as a thunderbird!!

yeah i only found out on friday when we got the leaflet home!!!!
im not too bad thanks. and you? i have just spent the last hour on msn chatting to my best friend up in scotland, after taking my tablet. well i say chatting, we were playing with all the nudges and winks!!! its great to be a kid like that sometimes!!!!
well this afternoon - omg it took us almost an hour to do a 20 minute journey. jamie threw a tantrum on the way home and it took us at least 15 minutes to get out of the playgroup car park - all because playgroup were giving away their old puzzles, i got one for sophie and not for him as he has too many as it is!!!

Big mistake mummy!
My eldest threw a fit the other day cos I'd bought lo a new toothbrush and not her. 10 minutes and the promise of going shopping for one for her it took to calm her down - nightmare!

haha dont you just love kids! i have had to drag jamie away from the greengrocers one moring, at about 8.30am, because he wanted a banana and the shop wasnt open yet! it was so embarrassing. all these people we glaring at us and he is there on the pavement, kicking and screaming and trying to lick the path (his way of "geting back at me" for not letting him have his own way!!)

My LO does that sort of thing regularly - know wonder i am nervous about taking her out! I go out armed with milky buttins these days, as if all else fails, bribery tends to still work....

At least he wanted a banana and not sweets. Don't you just hate the people that judge you on your childrens' tantrums. Like theirs never had them!
I gave one old woman a right mouthful a few months back when she started bitching about my kids and Bobyn's eldest cos they were talking (shock horror) when eating their lunch. The 2 oldest were really good and just chatting. My lo was a bit grizzly for about 10 minutes but was not even 2 at the time and it was only a bit of whinging. (honestly not loud at all and stopped when I got her dummy out) We were in a child friendly cafe for god's sake.
I've given up ignoring them. I glare back or say something now (while dying of embarrassment obviously!)

My eldest was the worst ever for throwing wobblies. He once laid on the floor outside McDonalds, and screamed at the top of his voice
"I AM HUNGRY"
I was mortified, and he was 9 at the time. Thank goodness those days are long gone.
How are you feeling now hun?? xxxx

haha that is brilliant!!!
well jamie has brought to the verge of tears twice this afternoon, in teh space of about 3 hours!! very clever!!!! he lied to me, he ignored me, he looked at me gormlessly and when i asked him for the answer to the question i asked him ("do you enjoy ignoring mummy and making her upset?") he said to me "but im just thinking of an answer". he has lost tv rights for the rest of today and hasnt been allowed to play with his computer game

well hello again!! how things have been hectic - and the kids left on sunday morning!!! i have been, well, kind of in a trance, as it were, as if im not too sure where i am, what im doing, feeling nothing but tiredness etc. mum came up with my stepdad on saturday, me and trev argued non-stop for hte 2 or 3 days beforehand as we were both stressed about it all and then i cut deep into my thumb on saturday afternoon as i was chopping the tomatoes for the shepards pie with my very blunt knive. we have had them years and my brother is giving me a new set when he comes up to the christening in may. i still have the plaster over my thumb atm, which has resulted in me not being able to do the dishes or even wash my own hair!! i did nothing but sleep from sunday till about monday afternoon after the kids left (they are at mums for a week) and tuesday morning (im assuming that is yesterday) i woke up with realy bad sickness and diorrheah. had to stay in bed, but managed a bit of fresh air and a short walk with trev and a fillet burger with cheese from kfc as i was hungry!! bad mistake, i was still throwing that one up at about 1.30am!!! after that, i finally fell asleep at about 2am and slept right through till 10.45am, and im feeling much better now. still not 100% but better than i was! Must have been a dodgy curry i had the night before i reckon - it was a microwave one from iceland - they are usually good. im thinking about going through some of their toys and books today as i need to clear some space. they have so much stuff and dont use it, esp most of the books that have been in a box since before xmas so we ould make room for the tree!!!! we managed to get sophies christening dress last week too. it is 12-18 months (i prefer them to be bigger on her) and is marks and spencer - i got it from banardos for £3.25!!! it is beautiful and has little daisys around the waist!! we have also been very busy campaigning. Trev is going to (hopefully) become county councillor for Bronglais ward and is looking at becoming town concillor for central ward too. So he had to have his photo taken with the family to help enhance the idfea to teh voters that he is a family man. apparently not alot of wives allow this so he was very pleased! here is the photo we had taken if they are too big i apologise well best go and sit down and read some more harry potter, dont want to over do it, not just yet!!
